"What an absolute joy it was to be dining again as a guest at Barrett’s Restaurant last Friday evening of the 19th of February. I love the atmosphere however l left very broken hearted on this occasion which prompted me to write a review.I notice that the Food and Manager on the night, tall slim gentleman who has obviously recently come on the scene was totally unprofessional with the staff. Absolutely rude to them. He was so nasty to the wonderful staff that he didn’t seem to care who was watching. His body language was beyond unacceptable. Other guests in the restaurant were also commenting on his behaviour.. Not a good look for what has always been an extremely hospitable establishment with the most friendly staff.Marvin was as usual exceptionally attentive. Shantel from the bar area is always a delight to be around. To the young lady that look after us (the Decampo table) l do hope that Barrett’s rest recognised your talents.Your composure on the night was second to none in particular when you were trying your best to attend to guests at the counter while your superior was too busy reprimanding you.Let’s hope that this new recruit doesn’t dampen the morale of his staff.I live in Noosa Heads Queensland. I am a regular to the Central Coast."
