"It was clear to us that the new owners are making significant improvements. The food was great, both the starters and main courses were delicious. The young lad who served us was brilliant, such a positive attitude. The new owner also made an effort to welcome us and was clearly keen that everyone was well looked after which was a nice touch. Looking forward to our next visit."

"Ordered and paid for chips in store (can’t get much more simple than that! . Waited for 15 minutes while people that ordered in store after me got their orders before me (including others that had ordered chips! . The girl that served me came over to ask what I had ordered (while she inhaled a burger and chips! . Told her to forget it and to keep my money as I couldn’t be bothered to wait any longer. While I was waiting (for my chips that never arrived again how hard can it be to do an order of chips?!?! a lady called the store (she was put on loud speaker for all to hear to say that a pizza she had ordered hadn’t been delivered with the rest of her delivery order "

"This is my favourite place to eat in Malton, I a friend regularly have takeaway drinks lunches, mainly either, soup, sandwiches, wraps, paninis or salads. All are freshly made delicious very reasonably priced. Malton has a wide variety of cafes coffee shopsto chose from but the stand out feature that draws us back to the Patisserie is not only high quality food but the friendly, efficient staff who always make us feel so welcome. Although less often, we occaisionally sit in in the cafe which provides the same first class service products. There is also a well stocked shop with a wide variety of lovely biscuits, cakes, preserves drinks which can be made into hampers. The delights of this little Malton gem are too numerous to mention."

"Lovely family lunch. They accommodated us with our wheelchair which was great we could all eat together. We had eaten there before my husband had is amputation and enjoyed it at the time. We phoned to see if they could accommodate us the day before and nothing was too much trouble."

"Beautiful walled garden and plot. I spent five hours there it was so peaceful and soothing. the free parking was close to the entrance, so not too far to foot. the entry fee for the walled garden and the property was £8.50 for a single adult. some of the paths in the garden are gras, so I recommend flat shoes/ sandals or trainers. cafe with hot and cold feeds light meal times like suppe and quiche is currently the sitting area outside tables under sun umbrella paperboard/coups. toilets were clean. disabled parking space and loo. baby washbasin in disabled toilet cabin. visited on 15th juli 2021. Visit first. there is also a selection of plants and pots / garden items for sale in a small outdoor area at the entrance."
