"This peaceful place has the most delicious food for all the Italian food lovers out there. According to the restaurant the food is hand-made and the taste confirmed that. The prices were very fair. The waiters were very nice and respected every extra wish we had. We were satisfied with everything, from antipasti to espresso!"

"A disgrace for tourism and gastronomy in Miltenberg! I am a coach driver and often travel with tour groups in Miltenberg. I usually eat at the Riesen and am always very satisfied there. Since the kitchen in the Riesen is closed in the afternoon, I had to look for another restaurant and passed the “Golden Crown”. The restaurant looked very attractive from the outside, but the interior was already showing its age and was overloaded with Christmas decorations, which to me was anything but festive. I ordered a water, pork loin with mushroom cream sauce and a side salad. When my water was served to me in a beer glass with a handle, I already suspected that something bad was about to happen. However, I was initially surprised by a very appealing side salad that also tasted good. For a moment I hoped that I had chosen the right restaurant. When the main course was served to me, this hope was quickly put to rest. The pork loins were more reminiscent of pork fillet carpaccio, I had to look for the mushrooms in the cream sauce that was certainly not homemade and the spaetzle, which was also not homemade, was an absolute nightmare and had to be returned! During my stay I also had to listen to the telephone conversation between the owner and presumably a tenant. The whole thing was entertaining, but it doesn't belong to the restaurant. In addition, the prices for what is served are very exorbitant. If the inn were located anywhere other than such a touristy location, the inn would certainly have been closed long ago. In any case, I won't be coming back. P.S.: I'm eagerly awaiting your insulting answer and this in advance... I'm not obese or a glutton or anything. And I'm not stingy or have no money. The same meal at Riesen costs more than at yours and I'm happy to pay there for a decent portion of pork loin with delicious mushroom cream sauce and homemade spaetzle!"

"Wir waren während unseres Aufenthalts in Miltenberg mehrmals im Restaurant Steuer essen. Das Essen war jedesmal ausgesprochen lecker und immer frisch zubereitet. Hier kocht der Chef selbst und das schmeckt man auch Es gibt eine grosse Auswahl und die Portionen sind mehr als ausreichend. Der Service ist schnell und aufmerksam. Die Preise sind für die sehr gute Qualität absolut in Ordnung."

"I was a guest at the inn for three (3) nights in August 2016. My single room was clean, cozy and with shower and toilet. The Wi-Fi internet connection was excellent. Ms. Barbara Baumann was a very hospitable, friendly and helpful host who spoke excellent English. She was very service-friendly and always asked how she could help or what she could bring or do. Your breakfast was wonderful with a variety of meat, cheese, bread, jams, yogurt and cereals. I also enjoyed the homemade potato dumplings and salad dinner. The bus stop in the city was only two hundred meters away. I went by bus to Miltenberg and it was very practical. I would strongly recommend staying in the inn to the star and eating."
