"In spite of the beautiful weather, the pedestrian zone of Mittenwald was almost as extinct or just because of it? I went to pizza today, so I was so happy that I found a table before Osteria without any problems. A signorina brought me the menu and I deepened it. The hint that everything is freshly prepared, I liked to read and hope that the cook masters his craft. I was quick to add and ordered a mixed salad € 4.50 as well as a pizza with artichokes and pineapple € 7.60 and a small mineral water S.P. 0.25 l. A colleague of the Signorina brought me the water, cutlery, napkin and a basket with three fresh, crispy pizza rolls and shortly afterwards the salad. In addition to leaf salads, this consisted of a few halved cherry tomatoes, peeled back! cucumbers, carrots and paprika, with a very good yogurt dressing; I didn't need salt or pepper. Also remarkable is the beautiful porcelain. On the map had a Franciacorta rosé 0, 1 l. € 9, and after I no longer had to work, I had a glass of my pizza. With benevolence, I recorded a clearly to be heard blooming from the interior of my house and was therefore sure that my glass is presented from a freshly opened bottle. The edge of the pizza was cheesy and yet airy, in the middle it was somewhat too soft for my taste, but only minimal. As I like it. With the pepper mill I turned around generously and was satisfied with the result. So I sat comfortably in the sun, enjoyed the good food and as a Bouncy a street musician skillfully played on the saxophone – I really had hit it badly; There's something missing. An espresso Macchiato € 1.80! Hot, strong, great and suitable to bring to life without problems dead. How does caffeine have so much space in so little liquid? To the toilets cross the long-drawn, slightly nested guest room, then a staircase goes deeper and again a walk. I asked the waiter for the bill, he came with two documents. On the one hand was the Franciacorta, on the other the rest. And immediately the good man accused himself of his inconvenience. He was amazed when I told him that I had a euro: at the service: the bosses sprayed a good mood and seemed loose and sympathetic to me, but his colleague and colleague acted with a little slowed charm. After there are no half points, I leave it at 3 stars. Conclusion: Short and flush – highly recommended! A useful hint at the end for the drivers: Osteria has its own parking lot on the street side of the house."

"Although Jay and I are regular visitors to Mittenwald we had not been in the Hochland before, (there are so many great places to eat and drink here). On our first visit we were all made really welcome by the very cheerful owner, Rita could not have been more pleasant. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to book a table later in the week ensuring that Jay would get a vegan meal of her choosing. Our choices were Spaghetti with tomato sauce for Jay, Steaks for our friends and Ritas recommendation of the local fried meat specialty for me with local beer, great. This is very much a locals restaurant and can get very busy even on week day nights. The food, drink, service and whole ambiance was great, we couldn't have been made more welcome. If you're going to Mittenwald we can highly recommend this restaurant, we will be returning sometime soon."

"Wir haben schon viele Pizzen gegessen und machen selber viel, da wir einen eigenen Pizzaofen haben. Das soll nicht heißen aber ich glaube da können wir schon mitreden. Diese war echt schon perfekt und wir würden sie gerne wieder essen.Bedienung können wir nicht negatives sagen, im Gegenteil der italienische älter Kellner war nett und gesprächig. Preise passen auch.Super"
