"Food was burnt, they still tried to charge us. Order was wrong. We had to wait 20 mins only to find out they didn’t put our order through correctly. Nothing is right about this place. Plenty of other options around"

"You will be pleasantly surprised by Essendon Kebabs. The kebabs are good and you can get a lamb kebab for under $10. Soft drinks are also on sale. There is nothing much on the menu that is over $10. Seating is available, there is no...need to rush away to your car to eat your kebab. Essendon kebabs is open until 1:00 am Sunday to Thursday and it is open until 3:00 am on Friday and Saturday. ."

"A small gem in an otherwise rather ordinary shopping strip. I'd walked past this little cupcake shop many times, but after hearing other locals rave about it, I thought I'd have a look. I wasn't disappointed. The coffee was great. I've never been much of a cupcake fan but thought I'd try their lemon meringue offering. It was melt-in-the-mouth delicious. While there, I noted they also served lunches. Their cook came out to a lunch group and explained what his offerings were that day. Then, with a bit of a swagger and smile, started cooking. Pasta, salad, gnocchi, risotto - simple fare. I've yet to try the lunches, but the group were repeat customers which is a good review in itself.Also of note is that it is just a few meters from the Moonee Ponds Creek trail. I'd recommend this as a great watering hole for walkers and cyclists, but also worth the trip for anyone looking for little gems."

"Went there this morning to have a brekkie after a long night shift, loved the place as barista myself I am a little too nagger when it comes to coffee, the mandellatte was simply in order, but the hot cake and the benedict was beautiful. I have serious “Benedikt-ion” and the benedikt was just perfect!. since my tiredness wagging, feels like I could go back to work right away!. would highly recommend, will be back"

"A group of couples came in without a reservation on a hot saturday night. The air con was refreshing being as many other restuarants didnt have any, so it was much appreciated. I had the Zuppa di Pesce as i have had it here before and it was out of this world! Did not disappoint again! Although it could have had more seafood in the meal it was hearty and delicious! Hubby had calamari and wasn't as satisfied. The calamari wasnt seasoned, as with the chips, but was cooked well and wasnt stringy. Other couple was happy with the food. Waiter was very attentive and friendly."
