"Wir waren auf Empfehlung eines Freunds hier, der uns die scharfe thailändische Suppe nahegelegt hat - die können wir auch uneingeschänkt empfehlen (ausser man mag keine scharfen Speisen) !!Danach hatten wir die Erdäpfelnudeln mit Speck und Spargel, die besonders beeindruckt haben, da der Spargel trotz sehr dünn geschnittener Stücke bissfest und nicht zerkocht war und geschmacklich auch neben den anderen Komponenten bestanden hat - ausgezeichnete Küche !!Weiters der scharfe Neusiedlerburger - selten so gute Pommes Frites bekommen, der Burger selbst auch ausgezeichnet !Das Lokal ist schön und stimmig eingerichtet, das Service gut und unaufdringlich, die Musik war unaufdringlich, aber sehr gut (nicht das übliche characterlose gedudel) !Wir werden wiederkommen und auch Freunde und Kunden mitbringen !Empfehlenswert !!"

"If you happen to be in Podersdorf am See then make a break in this place.The owner and the employee are friendly and doing their best to make things comfortable to the customers.Enjoy a drinking break with wide selection of winery in the terrace of the restaurant or if it is the eating time take a risk to order your food.The food was served fast and was tasting well, I did not like the mixed salad which was served in a very sweet dressing (the so called Viennese dressing)."

"Go there as long as you can sit outside. They have a covered terrace and it is nice to sit there. It's a bit cramped inside, but still okay. They also serve beautiful sandwiches cold and warm. The service is friendly and professional and you will find many locals there."

"Had a busy lunch in the very nice shaded gas garden. we both had the lunch-day recommendation and were really overwhelmed. the kitchen and the service had no problem that we made a change in the lunch menu. the truffle appetizer, then meat and dessert by just € 14,- - was the absolute hammer!10 for 10 points for this price/performance experience"

"The service was very kind and fast, we got our drinks quickly, but we had to wait for our food for almost 45 minutes. The mushrooms baked with cheese were average and the gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce were way to spicy. The worst thing, however,...is that there is no real door between the smoking and non-smoking area, just a large free space where there should be a door. The smoke moves freely throughout the restaurant and nobody seems to care. I've left almost the entire meal, since the place was so smelly that I've lost my appetite. Won't be coming back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Two points instead of one are given because the service was really kind and the prices are very friendly. However, the food is not good and the place smells terribly."

"Don't be turned away by the outside front of the restaurant, the inside is much nicer albeit not to everyone's taste. But the food is! Franz Tösch offers seasonal and regional (pannonian) dishes all of which we had (and were 8 people) were very skillfully prepared. They also offer a surprise menu (with or without accompanying wines) which is not on the menu. Portions are rather large, so skip lunch when going there for dinner... The service is very knowledgable but a bit too ingratiating as far as I am concerned. It was very disappointing that I had ordered my meat "blue" (and reiterated this point twice) and got it medium-rare; the waiter didn;t seem to be bothered and shrugged my respective comment aside; they also didn't have much patience with us when we were the last table in the restaurant. Overall however, a ighly recommended restaurant."

"It's nicely furnished restaurant with beautiful lakeside view. We had a nice tasty lunch over there, that we really enjoyed with my husband and my son. Even though we had a very interesting experience with their staff. Our order was taken by a nice lady....She gave us some recommendations, that we really apreciated, she treated us very nicely. Than I guess she wass off the duty and another waiter served us. As they had some informal conversation with colleagues, we found out, that he was Slovakian, as we are as well. So we set up next conversation in our own language slovak). He said, he is not allowed to speak to us slovakian, to any customers, but we can say very quickly what we want. I guess you can speak only German or English in this restaurant, which is very sad: Maybe it's Austrian only restaurant. They should put some signs outside. Anyway, I wish all the best to the restaurant and a lot of Austrian customers."
