"We went there with our kids, 2 grandkids and puppy. Although the patio is not dog friendly we were able to tie the dog to a tree close enough to our table. The service was outstanding and the food delicious. Not only would we go back, we would highly recommend to friends and family. Thanks for an enjoyable evening"

"We enjoyed a leisurely drive from Victoria up to North Saanich to try out Bistro Muse - well worth the trip. Outdoor seating was in a small patio next to the vinyard. Blue the Bistro Dog greeted us in a very mannerly way with her one blue and one brown eye!The regular-sized seafood salad was generous - and more crab meat than I've ever seen on a salad! Ribs were tender and succulent, and the accompanying muse salad was deelish, and again, generous. The veggie panini with added salami was yummy with melted cheese and avocados - not overfilling. Finished our meal with berry crumble and truffles. Service was low key and attentive - chef herself brought out some of our dishes! Be sure to take a look at art by local artists in the Ortega Room, the bistro's event venue. Oh, and yes, they have wine!"

"So I had a long stay at YYJ. I tried the salt and pepper wings and they were okay. Wish they were lemon pepper instead. Later I had their chicken Alfredo and that was delicious. Sorry no pictures this time as I was really hungry and just wanted to eat. But Kelly rocked, great personality and amazing service."

"Had a lovely tour behind the scenes during the North Saanich Flavour Trail seeing how they make their delicious biscotti. They have a seating area where you can have drinks and biscotti and other snacks. Great place to drop by if you work in the Sidney industrial area or if you just want a cup of coffee and snack doing an airport run."

"Although The Roost is a popular stop for coffee and a muffin and for those who want to purchase bread, etc. to take home, I cannot recommend the restaurant which is just over a year old now. We waited in a long line with no one greeting us. When we were finally seated, the floor around the table needed to be swept, we asked for water and it didn't come until we asked again and then it was lukewarm, and the egg sandwich was so thick it ceased to be anything but a chore to bite through it. Although I cannot blame the restaurant, one of my teeth broke while eating it - probably coincidental but it did not make for a pleasant memory."

"We were 18 from the local Probus Club and they knew well in advance that we would be a group but no accommodation had been made for this in the kitchen. So, while the food was generally good, it took at least an hour for the first of us to be served...we're talking about fish and chips or crab cakes... some of the group was never served at all! Literally, one person had to leave after an hour and 40 minutes and was never served anything!Meanwhile tables of two and three were being served in a more timely manner but the group was not. Just because we are retired doesn't mean that our time isn't important; many of us had other things to do and the lapsed time till service was ridiculous.I think it unlikely that many or any of us will return."

"Really nice visit to a unique restaurant. The food was good, not great, but we sat outside and thoroughly enjoyed the ambience of an airport. Service was really good despite them being short staffed. Nice visit!"

"Our fist visit to to this location. The seaside location on a very warm evening was magical; a pre-dinner beverage in the gardens prior to engaging dinner in the dining room was suggest by our Server. A very extensive and detailed Menu did offer some initial concern as to how the Kitchen would perform given the very large array of menu options. The food and the presentation was exceptional from Appetizers to Mains to desserts. Our foursome selected a very large array of Menu items; all of which was served in a timely and professional manner."

"I was lucky I was before and told my wife how great it was here. I finally have to take her. We had the seafood Clam Chowder and crabcake Combo.. simply perfect. Best crab cake ever! The taste of the...Chowder will never forget. Quant, rustic and has great views. Super-person does it."
