"Have eaten there during a family celebration. Service was okay. But the food was bad. The flame cake was muddy and not through. At the pork medallions, the meat was still bloody! on demand here it was: “We always serve medallions medium”. The food went back to the kitchen and we got the same cut pieces that were still not through. Bread potatoes and beans were charred and not well read (with stems). The 2 stars only exist because the service was nice and tried."

"I was on my bike with my wife and wanted to buy a small bottle of mineral water in the restaurant. Unfortunately, this was not possible, which I understand. But instead of telling me this in a friendly tone, the employees deceived the face and attacked me very unfriendly that there was no such thing here. We'll never go to St. John again."

"I was invited by an acquaintance and we were in front of 12:00. (Now little audience the menu for lunch had a selection of about a dozen dishes. All with homemade soup and a pudding fruit dessert. I chose the Angus Steak and Röstis, my friend the Medallions with supplement. The soup was delicious, the salad selection was quite exceptional, the steak perfect and also the dessert matched. And except for the Röstis nothing from the bag. Here the € 11.50 per menu was really not too much. I can't understand the reviews about an unkindness by the boss or employee. We were kindly greeted and questioned for every walk whether everything was OK. Happy again!"
