"This is a real diner experience with perfectly made creamy grains, eggs made over easy, and beautiful bacon. A little old lady, as friendly as possible, treats the money drawer where you pay. Booths are cozy and comfortable and service is prompt. Recommended for breakfast! Although not necessarily a place for a foodie, this is a nonsensical place with friendly people and employees."

"Visited Crossroads Coffee Shop on the recommendation of the post office via the street. My husband and I went to see their fantastic book rooms in the old bench vault above, browse an extraordinary book collection and left with a delicious hazelnut salad. Sandwich selection was exceptional and today they have offered four different types of Smith Island Cake. Do not miss this jewel when you travel the Eastern Shore. Check hours as they are open for breakfast and lunch."

"I've been going to these guys for years. Great if you make plans for a fresh seafood dinner last minute. I am a fan of there shrimps and Lil Neck's, but on my last visit I decided to try her fish salad!!! AMAZING!!!! Huge crab meat, whole steamed shrimps, celery, onions and only enough old bay to remind you that it is local!!!! Great prices and exceptional service!!!! Absolutely a must try!!!"
