"In December we visited another local Panania area restaurant. Tower Thai had a unique decor/atmosphere about it. This is always what we expect from any Asian restaurant. Face it everyone, we usually go there because of the decor - a tiny bit of Asia. Food was as expected from any Thai restaurant. We asked for very mild green curry but instead received a very spicy, hot curry. Kids could NOT eat. Special rices were very average. If you want a local Thai restaurant, go here. If you want an excellent Thai restaurant that you are willing to travel for, go elsewhere. Service was mediocre, nothing special. Not many smiling faces. Price was decent. A family of 5 of us (mum, dad and 3 young kids) ate dinner and had soft drinks for the total price of just over $110. Not something special. I also visited a Lebanese Italian restaurant in Panania just after this restaurant. Both rushed the food out to you. I would certainly recommend this restaurant, but to the locals only."

"We love eating at Green Bamboo, but mostly get take-away. The food is always fresh, and well prepared. The staff are very friendly, and even when not appearing for weeks at a time, remember you."

"A very good venue for children, playground is good for toddlers provided you supervise them. They have activities on the weekend in an old train carriage too. Food is typical club fare, almost everything deep fried or crumbed. Prices reflect this. Bistro style where you order and collect when the buzzer sounds. Hard to get a "healthy" meal as even the salads and fish are covered in not very nice sauces. Probably the roast of the day would be the best option in my opinion."
