"We had lunch at Bistrot du Paradou during an early September 2017 trip and it was the best meal we had in France. Just a superb atmosphere with simply but perfectly cooked, top notch food (like Bresse chicken the best chicken there is) and friendly, impeccable staff who made us feel welcome the quintessential 2 hour French lunch on a terrace. We will drive out of our way to come here again the next time we're in France! Note for other Americans: the staff spoke excellent English, though they were kind enough to speak French with me too, despite my limited vocabulary. I don't get many opportunities to practice so this was appreciated!"

"We came to have lunch here with a tour group. And it was just great.As well as our tour group there were numerous locals having lunch there too. Always a good sign.The food is home style french and just fantastic. Excellent friendly service. Charming building in an excellent out of city location offering a relaxing ambience with terrific flavoursome food."

"Had lunch at the last minute at Le Bistro de Paradou on a hot summer’s day, outside on a beautiful shaded terrace. There was a set menu at €55 a head which included a roasted aubergine starter, a main of rabbit cooked with rosemary, all...you can eat cheese from an expansive cheese board, and a dessert of your choice, plus bottomless wine (a bit dangerous). My partner was vegetarian and they were able to accommodate with a delicious ratatouille and artichoke main. The chosen dessert (mousse) was a bit lacklustre, but everything else was perfect and we had a great time so have to give five stars!"

"Habitant à St Remy nous venons depuis un moment mais lors de notre dernière visite nous avons été déçu. Sprits extrêmement dilué, entrée : brousse à peine une cuillère à café au milieu d un océan de salade, (8€)Des plats pas forcément copieux, quand aux accompagnements... 7 pommes de terre grenailles au fond d une gamelle, 4 cubes de de légumes dans l huile en guise de ratatouille somme toute goûteuse mais bien huilée. Résultat 60€ par personnes Pas dingue....Le prix n est pas le grief mais la quantité vous l'aurez compris est dérisoire. Dommage on habite pas loin on pourrais venir souvent. Sinon le cadre bien évidement est top les serveurs super rien a redire de ce côté."
