"We were recommended this wonderful little restaurant by our accommodation in foot (we were at the Seespitz Hotel. please refer to my review of this excellent place). It was snowy and we wouldn't have gone without the recommendation and a GPS tracker! It was so... well worth it. Beautiful views of the valley and the mountains in a cozy dining room in the 1780s built pension. The food was good. I enjoyed smoked trout. My wife loved her pig medals. My children were happy with their Rump Steak and 'small' carving. Wine and beer selection. I had a very nice cream to finish Brûlée as well as a good coffee. The hosts are friendly. If you are nearby, give this place an attempt!"

"Sadly the Gasthof Adler was closed so we tried this out as our second choice. Prices were higher and it was quite off the beaten path. It seemed well loved and was nearly full when we arrived just before 8pm. The waitress said the 3...of us (2 adults and a 4yo) could squeeze around the table for 2 if we wanted but the food would be a while coming as they were so busy. Menu was fairly small. We tried the Maultaschen with egg and cheese, which I found far too salty and regretted adding the cheese to the dish due to the taste. The side salad was very good. The Hof-Pfanne was also very good. My husband said the house beer wasn't great, though I enjoyed my Radler. Service was friendly and faster than expected. We appreciated that the waitress told us the price along with the details of the daily special. They have a small kids play room with a number of broken and small toys, which could have done with a good vacuuming. All in all the meal was ok, but I think you could find better food and value for money elsewhere. We wouldn't go back."

"This is a small restaurant in Pfronten Bergen in the Babarian region. The food, the environment and the staff are amazing and so the view. We had carcasses and scratches that were amazing and for the pudding we order the delicuous Kaiserschmarrn. I have to say that I had a crazy craving for coffee, so I invented a new drink from a double espresso with hot chocolat and rum with whip cream... I loved it and so my colleagues and the staff called the Haraldschmarrn unavoidably!"
