"The Cariboo Hotel used to have excellent food. Well, it's not like the good old days that's for sure. My entire meal was awful. I ordered chicken souvlaki. The chicken was bone dry, the greek salad had NO dressing, the rice was aking to packaged Uncle Ben's and was mushy besides. the tzatziki tasted nothing like it should, the pita bread was instead garlic toast and came toasted only on one side. What a disapointment. The waitress, while somewhat snippy did take the meal off the bill (not that I ate my meal...I left hungry). She seemed personally offended that we complained and stated that "No one ever complains here". Over the next few days we heard many people agree that the food was lacking there. I did go a second time since all my friends were going there. I hesitantly ordered a burger and fries. It wasn't terrible. It wasn't great. I was hungry and I ate it. But overall, the Cariboo isn't the great place it once was...now it has good memories and not so good food. A disappointment to be sure."

"Stopped at WINGS near the end of a 14 hour drive with 6 kids, 2 of whom are 3 month old babies, and was about 34°C outside.Restaurant was nice and cool inside, we got seated instantly. Food was incredible. Bacon mac and cheese in a cast skillet definitely worth a try.Our waiter was Brandon, he was around when we needed him (which was often), but didnt hover or bother us.After our hot meals and cold drinks, our waiter took a few dirty bottles into the kitchen and gave them a rinse with boiling water (as we were out of clean, sterile bottles) totally saved us.Awesome service, above and beyond.Food was great, felt like prices were still pre covid craziness. Kids meals with an entree, side dessert and drink for $10.Atmosphere was awesome, perfect temperature for a hot day, gave us lots of space to move around and let the kids be kids.Will definitely be going again,Thanks Brandon!"

"Had the pleasure of being served an excellent lunch, home made and cooked to perfection, fresh salad, very good bread (toasted) turkey soup to brag about, hamburger maison, home made fries, all in all an excellent meal. The service was superior, very friendly waitress and the price was super reasonable. Thank you for an memorable lunch, definitely coming back soon."

"I went to this restaurant based on recommendations on yelp, I was pleasantly surprised how I was warmly welcomed I was when I came in. I had the chicken stirfry on rice, it was a very large meal and very tasty. The garlic toast was a little on the small side but the meal overall was great. I found the price to be a on the high side for a stir-fry, nevertheless I was very pleased with the service and the food. My server's name was Ariadne, She was super attentive and very hospitable. If I ever drive through again, I definitely will be stopping back for another meal. I also enjoyed the karaoke which just happen to be starting when I arrived."
