"The name should speak for itself.Prior knowledge about this restaurant included a burger that was twice the size of a human head. Upon arrival, there were a few of us, a family of 5, myself and my boyfriend, who had just ate, my aunt and her two daughters, small girls, (age 7 & 14 ) who wanted to share this massive burger. The adults just came for the company of one another. Well of course, once people sit down, maybe we can all share something small while the girls eat the burger. Besides, we just came for the experience, not to eat anything but maybe now a snack. Adults order 3 beers and 2 colas for the kids, the smallest size being 1 liter. Okay, with the size of the drinks, one should know what the portions sizes are like the kids order the burger and the waiter proudly exclaimed, "no one is aloud to share here at 'Big Emma's. We wouldn't make any money if people shared".Okay, the girls are forced to order separately and the adults left with no appetizers, so I just order a half salad for myself. (Fortunately they have "half sizes" for everything)The food comes out and the rumor was true, the half burger was the size of two heads, all bun and a slim patty. The schnitzel probably a good .5 kilo and the salad looking like and XXX LARGE. I even had to ask if it was the half portion. The waiter said, "of course! Everything is big here at 'Big Emma's"Now, I can understand why they don't make any money, everything is unappetizingly large... including the 65€ bill at the end for 3 meals and five drinks. A good touch are the Free Big Emma postcards as well as a Chupa Chup lollipop after the meal. Thanks for the LARGE experience, but the chances of the return are slim to nothing."
