"Incredible food! We did a large take out order for our group to picnic on before our hike. They accommodated special diets and wrapped it all up so nicely with all the sauces! The food was so fresh and tasty! I am super picky about falafel and this place exceeded expectations! I can’t wait to be back up there to visit."

"The waitress was absolutely wonderful. She was very sweet and attentive. Unfortunately the meat was flavorless and so was their house bbq sauces. It was not worth the money. "I recently tried to prepare the caffe Drake/Hudson valley vegans meal pick-up service. I enjoyed very much what I ordered: a series of appetizers and an Ethiopian three-dian main course. the menu announcements go to any member who expresses interest. HVV boss roberta tries to clean the list of people who do not order. after years on the list, I have a head-up from a large menu, including the Ethiopian items, a kitchen that I enjoy. also of course, robbie warned against being on the list when people were not serious. only 3 people are now on the café Drake list! there is no current website for café drake or the mealtime service. (almost possible to make a business page, wordpress (some skills required, or the hosting service bluehost that hosts many independent bloggers, but also other types of customers. for me was the time right, because a slow disease I got this year, reduces my ability to cook and wash dishes quickly and without pain. also the options looked enormous, as robbie pointed out. in the did, they were already offered, but I had to delete my weekly menu announcement without reading it most weeks. drake is a wonderful chef I know from an HVV event that looked after café drake. I talked about the years with him as a member of more than a non-Drake HVV event. he is a real, active local vegan. my first experience with the service worked nicely, given a weather-related phone problem that I had and unusual HVV business robbie had far down. my Entrée plate and my appetizers for two were $12. the cooled dishes came in reusable retainers. I could have remembered bringing a bag of fabric. most objects need a microwave or a cooktop. café drake does not accept credit cards. so far I have eaten my appetizers and the main dish yellow pea. as Indian foods Ethiopian dishes are often touched by spicy legume main dishes. (the star of the meal! all that lives up to its first sight. bravo, but with a few confusing bucks for me first! pick-up places in rheinbeck and saugerties! * my second experience with the pick-up service for the meal came on Friday night. they did a wonderful job with Venezuelan arepas, green bean escabeche and tofu salad, and a slightly spicy garbanzo bean filling for the deliciously dense cornmeal arepas. the arepas and bores were easily heated again to steam in a microwave. updated by previous review on 2021-07-09"

"This was a lovely , little local place. The owners work there every day and were a pleasure to talk to. It is a little expensive but the food quality is good. It was small but there was indoor and outdoor seating. It is decorated rustically and was very homey, warm and inviting. The brownie that we got for a snack was amazing!"

"We eat mainly brot of bread alone. they have a great selection of broths, although I like myself against the whole pasture and the 12 grains plus a seed. nice taste from longer fermentation times and good sourded when that is what they get. I especially like the structure of broth, they find not only in their white broths as they desire, but in all their broths, including with many heavier gran and meal added."

"Eventhough we walked in without reservation, dining at the bar was great. Food was fantastic (hangar steak pork mignon entree, roasted beet salad were great and oysters in half shell fresh). Bartender very friendly. Definitely coming back."
