"We have the name of this almosis in the Tourist Information Office in Maria Alm. We found it by switching off the southern 311 just outside Saalfelden on a shield to Biberg. We drove up the road that turned into a route and then turned to the left on a sign to Forsthofalm. It lies at an altitude of 1120 meters. We parked on the side of the building and entered as a barn looked. We were greeted by the owner and shown in the dining area, consisting of two ten seat tables and a table for two and an old fashion series. We came to four others and were introduced with Späkasbrot, a deep fried pancake that was eaten with cranberry jam. We had cheese dumping soup and pork and sauerkraut followed by the special pancakes. The Mea I was delicious. We drank cyclists and whiteberries with a coffee. Unfortunately it is only open between May and the end of October. The meal cost us 15 euros."

"One of the most beautiful destinations in Saalfelden. Wonderful hiking destination with a magnificent view of the wide tai pool of saalfelden with a view of the surrounding mountains of the stone sea, the leoganger stone mountains up to the rock formations of the high king. easy to walk or with the double chairlift, direct access (in summer) with the pkw possible. from the nearby mountain station of the sessellift leads an interesting summer toboggan run into the valley. hauptattraction of the gasthof is however the very good kitchen, in which local dishes are lovingly prepared by the wet personally. the offered food tastes on the beautiful view terrace, with magnificent view of the far, just as good. especially the fried ripperl with bratkartoffeln, garlic sauce and herb salad or pinzgauer Kasnocken, as a dessert an imperial, are recommended. all this is served to moderate trips by a friendly service."

"This restaurant is aptly named, being situated in the town square. There is plenty of outdoor seating and we sat and had chicken skewers. The food was delicious and the portions certainly generous although it still amazes me the number of stenchy smokers here. Service was efficient rather than engaging but the food arrived quickly. Prices were decent too."

"We had as an appetizer a very tasty salad with a trout and as a main dish an excellent scavenger from the organic pig with potato Vogerl salad. the portions were sufficient, the quality extraordinarily and the prices fair. all in all an absolute secret tip with the most beautiful one you can imagine."
