"We felt extremely lucky to see the tiny sign for this hidden gem of a restaurant when we arrived in Saint-Guihelm. The small terrace shaded by a beautiful old tree was serene and lovely, a great escape from the busy, tourist-crowded square. Our salads were ample and perfect, and my companion was very happy with his dessert tart. The owners were gracious and accommodating, even seating us a few minutes after closing time and not hurrying us at all (rare in France to be served even a crumb near or after closing time). Highly recommend but with a bit of sadness. I hope that when I return, the crowds won't make it impossible to get a table!"

"This lovely medieval village is such a gem. A photographer's paradise. The Pizza was good, but hard to rate a restaurant on what we had. Good service, nice surrounding on a beautiful September day!"

"One of several restaurants with tables in the village square in front of the Abbey. Its a great place to chill out and enjoy a coffee lunch but it was busy at lunchtime when we visited. We both went for salads nicoise goats cheese with a coke and beer. The salads were very good, service was fine and the bill came to 35 euros inc service. We would be happy to return."

"Sweet lunch spot with a terrace looking over the gorge. Our waiter spoke English, which was helpful and he was very nice (unlike some of the French servers we’ve encountered). The lunch was a pre-fix menu and was delicious! Starter of cured meats and tapenade with bread, followed by grilled meats and veggies and completed with baked apple and ice cream for dessert- priced at 19€ each."

"Agréablement surprise par la qualité de la nourriture. Service rapide et de qualité. Patron super sympa qui partage sa passion pour l'Irlande avec succès. Mon amie et moi sommes d'accord pour dire que nous avons mangé les meilleures tomates cerises et un des meilleurs moelleux au chocolat de notre vie, merci beaucoup!"

"Called in on a really hot August day and were made very welcome.At first, he who can be a bit fussy, was a bit deterred from going into the restaurant due to its not looking the most salubrious establishment. This was cased by plastic tables and chairs and eating indoors. He was outvoted by the girls and in we went.We were pleasantly surprised food was cooked to order and fresh, within our view. We chose off the table d'hote menu starting with goats cheese salad, and followed by faux fillet. The girls chose a panini and omelette nature.The restaurant also served takeout foods, paninis, sandwiches, ice-creams etc.The restaurant is set in a hobbit type building and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.Be aware other customers are calling in to select, order and wait for food ordered. Diners are a source of curiosity value but don't let this put you off.We were made very welcome, felt comfortable, were unhurried. Service was prompt, efficient and courteous."
