"On June 29, 2017 after a beautiful day on the Iraqi we decided to stroll to Saint-Jean port foot and of course after a long walk the idea took us to desaltify. So we sat down on the terrace at the navar, what a mistake we made there. visibly our head didn't come back to the waitress because after 15 minutes she had not come to ask us what we wanted to consume. on the other hand, she was strolling in front of the terrace to talk to a girlfriend, or with car passengers she knew. To finally get back to the broom. She knew very well that we were there but she didn't tell us to come and take our order. before such a lack of professionalism we went away to spend our money elsewhere. If you read this message, please know that a refusal to serve a client is liable to prosecution if you do not have a legitimate reason. You had no legitimate motive in this case and I can tell you that if I were your boss I would take the necessary measures. I also point out that this is the second time that it happens to me in the region, to wonder if it is a local custom. You may not have to forget that tourists are the ones who make you live. In any case, I do not recommend and will never put my feet back in this establishment that does not respect its customers."

"St. Jean Pied-de-Port is a charming town and this restaurant reflects the vibe; quaint yet sophisticated and delightful. The menu was varied, the bread was delicious, the service excellent even though they were very busy. We ate outside - good choice. I had a mixed seafood dish with fish and octopus (size of a serving bowl) expertly cooked. Hubby had a casserole of beans and sausage served with frites. All our food was wonderful - but portions huge - we should have split! You cannot go wrong here. Every dish that came out of the kitchen looked and smelled fantastic."

"I went for lunch here with another Camino pilgrim and we both loved it. We sat out in the outside patio, The food was delicious; the wine was tasty; and the servcie was prompt. They have a good menu of local items. The prices are reasonable. So before you set out on your loing Camino, drop in here for a delicious and filling lunch or dinner."

"Ordered a salad as the was the only item on the menu that didn't have dairy according to the waiter. It was topped with cheese. Explained again that I was allergic to dairy and would like a new dairy free salad. Of course they didn't make a new one they just took MOST of the cheese off. Service was terrible, the gentleman next to us got up and got their own glasses for water. We didn't get water for almost an hour. They had the water we had the glasses"
