"We saw a few less than favorable reviews regarding this restaurant and just have to say, comme ci, comme ca. Incredibly romantic old inn setting. Son seats and serves, mother cooks (and knits on couch in the lobby later in the evening when kitchen is done). 25 euro prix fixe dinner menu could not have been a better value, regardless of whether or not you think every course is the best you ever had. Very fun/creative menu that delivers exactly what it claims it will. Would absolutely eat here again."

"This place is what small town France is all about. The food is simple, but everything is done right, which you don't see a lot in bigger, more commercial restaurants. Fresh ripe tomatoes from the garden, and with the eye to take out the crowns, lettuce with the cheeseboard all leaves individually cleaned and dressed and a simple fig dessert to absolutely hit all the taste notes, sweet, fresh, acidity, creamy, rich but light. "This is a beautiful river setting where they can eat on the river boat via the street or in the pub itself. the personal is friendly and attentive. it has a great atmosphere and we found eating very well and can be easy."
