"Absolutely first class deli. Can 't believe that it 's so far out of the way !We ate:Pork Confit Sandwich with Dijonaise and various salad leaves. House Cured Bacon Sandwich. The bacon won a very deserved great taste award, smoky with a generous flavouring of rosemary. The bacon was cut very thickly for the sandwich, and lots of butter too. Highly recommended. Spicy House Sausage Rolls. Also recipients of a great taste award, the meat has a very strong, distinctive flavour that I haven 't encountered before (I assume from the 'rare breed pigs ' from which it is made). Spiciness just right, present but not overpowering. Highly recommended.The Hash Browns were perfect outside crispy, inside soft and fluffy, and they are thicker than any others I have seen to boot!Finally:I didn 't catch from which roastery the coffee comes, but the americano was smooth, flavourful and well brewed. There was no hint of 'burnt beans ' leading me to think that it is in fact a speciality coffee (and a good one, at that)."

"Not being from the area, I searched for somewhere 'nice ' to take my eldest sister, who lives near Spalding, for her 70th birthday lunch. We couldn 't have chosen better. The food was absolutely lovely and relatively inexpensive; the atmosphere was great; staff very friendly and the duo singing were unexpectedly very good both had beautiful voices and provided a lovely relaxing ambience to the meal. All in all, spot on!"

"The Plough has recently changed hands, so now it is open on regular hours rather than needing an almanack to calculate opening hours. The Sunday menu is purely roast meals...but what lunches! Every element is delicious but the gravy deserves special mention. I'm hard to please when it comes to roast potatoes but these are as good as my own."

"Went here to celebrate my friend’s 70th birthday. Catering is done by Katie from OK Catering, and what a fantastic job she does! To me, this was a proper afternoon tea, not junked up with salad bits and crisps. All 4 of us had a lovely time in a very relaxing setting, watching the pilots and planes."

"The service was very poor, we had to ask for the dessert order to be taken. Very rude staff, when the broccoli ran out we asked if there was more and got an abrupt ‘NO’, it no alternative provided. Pimms trifle was disgraceful and when discussed with the owner was told it was supposed to be like that. Cream unset, custard unset, not fresh cream. The chef looking after the carvery needs to do a customer service course. The vegetarian option was not cooked properly."

"I spent the night here in my motorhome. I stayed free as I ate in the pub. Had a lovely meal, and good beer. Then a lovely walk along the river bank in the morning. The food is locally, ethically sourced, cooked with care and flair, and the staff were really friendly. I'll be back. Service: 5 Location: 5"

"Spent a few hours at the farm shop a good selection of plants and impressive large olive trees at a very good price. In the shop there is food and treats of high quality. You an even pick up a gift from there quirky gift shop well worth a look for a birthday present that is different from the usual high street shops handbags to paintings and modern leather seats. There coffee shop is very good and there coffee is nice fresh cakes and the staff are friendly. We will definitely be going back it's worth it for a coffee and cake 10 out of 10 from me."
