"We had a very enjoyable breakfast here on a late Saturday morning as we were staying nearby. The cafe is located in an area with mostly offices and no shops, so it was pretty dead on the weekend but at least the café wasn't busy. Seems to be one of the few cafés open later on the weekend in the area. Location: Cafe is spacious and has an outdoor section too, but surrounding area didn't have much of an atmosphere on the weekend due to surrounding offices being closed and lack of retail shops Decor: Cheerful and pleasant, fresh flowers on tables, no particular aesthetic Food: We were a group of four for breakfast and enjoyed everything we ordered. Breakfast board for 2 (more than enough for 2 people sharing), mushrooms on toast, hotcakes. Would recommend for a decent breakfast/brunch. Also had nice coffee and fresh juices. Service: Friendly and relaxed Restroom/toilet: Only has one restroom (with a warning that it gets clogged easily) despite the café having a decent amount of seating/tables. They could probably do with another restroom. Would also recommend they do not place a seat/table right beside the door to the restroom..maybe a screen or row of plants would be better to separate the restroom door from the dining area."

"I think this is the best cafe for brunch among all the cafes I have tried in BNE yet.<br>
It really worths to come all the way to have an enjoyable breakfast, brunch or lunch here.<br>
Felt super hot this morning, then I thought an iced long black with almond milk was a perfect option to start my day! Seriously, I finished that in 1 minute, so good!<br>
Sweet&savory platter would be good for share and it was good for someone like me who wants to try a little bit of everything! The beef brisket was cooked so soft that it just melted in your mouth. The ice cream was so refreshing, and the sourdough was yum.<br>
What I love this cafe most is that they have many healthy and innovative options, because when we go for brunch, it seems that every dish comes with sourdough, but here they got many creative dishes like the one I order called mushroom stuffed with smashed sweet potato, poached eggs, crumbed feta, kale chips. "Very nice little cafe. Great coffee and very friendly, efficient service. Plenty of table and chair both inside and outside. Easy, level access, wide door ways, wheel chair friendly. Paid parking limited on street. There are designated disabled parking on street. Cakes, muffins, burgers, salad and pastries. Specials also."

"I was two weeks in the opposite of this restaurant and tonight was sushi. When I went in, I was unimpressed by the dirty and the zigarette stumps. it should have been a sign. I went to the counter of the closest empty restaurants around 17 clock (prime time.) the person on the theke asked what I wanted. I asked for a menu and was directed to a very nasty looking laminated menu. I felt that the prices for a sushi roll are very high, so I decided to have a bbq pork dish that came with an salat and dumpling for $11.00 on a budget so it sounded reasonable. I ordered it for the departure, as the restaurant was empty. no more clean place. my food arrived quickly. I immediately asked where the salat and the dumplings were. I was told that deal isn't for the goodbye, then he said it was an old menu. he said the new menu was on the wall behind him. I told him that when I asked for a menu that the offer had. He never mentioned me when I ordered and my order was as it is! I'm not sure if he treated me so badly because I was a tourist or everyone was badly treated and that's why the place was empty. either a very bad experience. I would never go back or recommend!"

"We were looking for a Sunday lunch in the Clare and their are not too many options, but we had heard Skillogalee had a reasonable restaurant. We didn't have a reservation on a busy Sunday lunch but we're offered a lovely table under the olive tree at the back. See a photo above. That was our table. About 30 minutes after we were seated, we noticed the restaurant was packed.Great ambience, service very friendly and efficient and food very tasty. Wines very good as wellIn winter, on the verandah, in summer definitely under the olive tree out the back"
