"This is a great find. Too bad I cannot rate it five 5 stars. The restaurant is located in an upscale hotel decorated in Alpine style with a great view on the surrounding mountains. Since 2019 their chef has specialized in vegan cuisine and they offer a vegan 5-course menu which changes every day. Price was very reasonable for the quality of what was offered €33.90 in Aug 2020). All dishes from the menu were well presented and very tasty. The nice thing is that they have succeeded in making traditional Austrian cuisine which is heavy on meat and dairy) accessible to vegans. The first course was an extensive salad bar where vegan options were clearly marked. This was followed by a vegetable soufflé, minestrone soup, dumplings in mushroom sauce and topped off with a mocha crème brûlée. Some of the a la carte dishes are also vegan or can be made vegan. Our daughter had the veganized baked potato which she very much liked. Staff is friendly and accommodating to families. We were a bit underdressed after a day of hiking in the mountains, but that was no problem at all."
