"Tested coffee and surprised with the short and long black. both had good look and great taste. the aromen were tempting, taste was smooth at the palate, lack of bitterness and with some hints of zitrus. overall well above average in sunny bench. toby estate. is the coffee supplier as delivery while we sat. otherwise there is a small selection of menu offers: sushi, rolls, dish on the spatial areas as well as cookies and cakes to accompany tee or coffee"

"Heard about this place for years but had not tried it due to the parking issue. This time tried to have a dinner early at 5:30pm. Well, the strategy is correct that there were plenty of parking spots there but the carpark was full in 30 minutes. Prior to step in the shop, the lure from the aroma of BBQ meats were attacking me so we rushed in and took a seat. This eatery is just like one of the eatery in a hawker centre, there is no nice set-up but looks like their prices are quite reasonable to the side of bargain. Ordered half serving of combination BBQ meat platter (only $58.00) and an extra Tofu with spicy Seafood Hot Pot. Meat platter comes with a spectacular quantity and it was very enjoyable to DIY the BBQ meat. Service is not quite attentive (because they were too busy) but friendly enough. Overall, this Korean eatery is recommended."

"The first time we attempted to come here it was closed (we came on a whim and found it to be closed the first Wednesday of the month). Quaint casual Japanese eatery; kind of like a snack shop (they have lots of little bitesized selections). I like all the Japanese decorations around the shop - so cute! And the staff here appear to be Japanese.

Service: you order from the counter and pay at once (cash only); you might like to pick up a drink at the same time. Take a number and they will bring the food to your table.

Food is prepared and delivered quite quickly (I think it took about 10 mins??) to you.

The menu is a little long winded and slightly confusing with many items and combinations to choose from; and in some places, required a few questions of the order taker. The main selection is a bento box that is fully customised (choose your main dish, two fried items and two snack items).

Amongst the items we tried, I would recommend the tempura (batter was very crispy and it wasn't swimming in oil) and the Mazri shoyu (soy sauce) ramen (was cheap for $10 and the soup seemed to be a genuine pork bone soup). On the other hand, the salmon sashimi needed to be colder; my dining companion thought some of the sashimi pieces smelled fishy (I know that sounds weird: fish smelling fishy... however, one expects sashimi to smell fresh like the ocean).

Verdict: not bad, value for money is pretty good (moderate portion sizes). May try again some day."

"I recently won a pair of Pepper Lunch keyrings and took advantage of the January offer for keyring holders. These have recently changed to different $10 deals on the 10th of each month, and January’s was for $10 single meat sizzling curries normally $13). We had a chicken and a beef, plus ordered a pepper salad $8.90 to accompany our mains. Ordering the specials has to be done by a staff member, and somewhere along the way my intention to have my beef curry with hot curry and wifey’s chicken curry with mild curry got mixed up. My meal came first and I didn’t realise until after I’d poured my curry over my food, so we ended up both having mild. It’s been a while since my last Pepper Lunch experience and I enjoyed the return visit, especially now that I know you can customise the pepper level I find the default levels too peppery). I got the large rice option $1.50) on wifey’s meal so that she could share her no-pepper dish with the boy, though it turns out the normal size would’ve been sufficient. Hopefully there will be a different dish on offer every month so I can work my way through the menu"
