"I love this place and dine in or order online at least every other week. I've never had poor service and the food has always been excellent until now. I placed an order over the phone on March 17th for food before I went to work night shift. My boyfriend picked up my order and I realized they had forgotten my soup with my hibachi meal. I called and asked if I could pick it up on my way to work and they happily gave me a larger size soup when I got there. Later on, while I was eating I bit into a piece of my tempura vegetable appetizer and almost cracked a tooth on something very hard. I carefully spit it out to see what it was and there were several pieces of some kind of metal in my food. This was not only unappetizing but dangerous. Thankfully I did not crack a tooth or swallow any of the pieces, but it makes me hesitant about ordering anything to go from now on. I did take pictures of the pieces of metal to document what occurred. I also did not want to post anything without first bringing it to their attention and I got no response at all.Update to the owner: No, I sent a message via Messenger. I've been working night shift and have no time to call, wait for a manager and repeat my problem to several different people. I'm quite sure this was not burnt food. It was hard as a rock and somewhat crystalline in structure. All I need is that meal replaced because I didn't want to eat any of my meal after that. I don't like giving negative reviews, especially because I love eating here. I was disappointed that I received no response to my message so I came here to hopefully get a response."

"Have been going to Kelley's in Meadows Place/Stafford for years. Some of the most wonderful food cooked from scratch! Moved to Galveston and was looking forward to going to the Kelley's in La Marque...then it caught fire on the roof and I had to waitmonths for repairs. Finally made it though! The food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious. No canned or frozen veggies, instantpotatoes, or packaged gravy! Specials every day with some everyday regulars such as chicken fried chicken and steak, liver andonions, etc. as well as their full menu. The rolls they serve are to die for. In spite of my diabetes, I treat myself to oneroll every visit. Wait staff are always smiling and attentive. Weekend mornings can have a bit of a line waiting, but it movesquickly and the reward is worth it!! (Edited to add photo)"

"This restaurant back in the day used to be good. The service is good. No problem with our waitress. But, the food items are lacking. I had the crawfish ettouffe and it had no taste very bland. No spice to their rendition of sauce. And I love crawfish ettouffe. I ate the crawfish and left the rest."

"A prime location. Great menu, friendly staff, amazing dissemination, quality entertainment for children. Think fudruckers with home baked rolls and burgers, but meat cooked with care and a large carburized taste at the edges. Even my daughter, the HATES Burger loved her burger."
