"Stayed up for the night for the castlehaven match. The hotel is located in the centre of the town so it was close to everything. Rooms were clean, and the bed was big and comfy. The first room we went into the shower was really nice, but the drain was blocked, so the shower started to flood. They moved us to another room right away. They were very helpful. The hotel had a bar where you can get food and drinks. When we arrived back at the hotel bar, there was live music. After the music, the nightclub started. It was free entry for residents. Breakfast was served in the bar, which was included in the room rate. The breakfast was OK, wasn't really hot. Some of the staff seemed like they didn't want to be there. It is popular with locals, though it was nice to see. I would recommend this place to stay. We will be back."

"The staff is nice. eat cold after half an hour waiting. had not asked if girls or young for toys so had to go on and change toy had to change nugget meal that was meant to be sausages after she had already asked, so on the fertilizer twice after the food and again for tissue. toilets were not useable but had to burst somewhere else. the refurbishment and better organization is required. not on the look for 5 stars eating as it is fast eating, but eating warm would be nice. the staff but can not blame, not their fault they are very busy and polite and pleasant."

"I had booked this restaurant for lunch on a trip from Dublin to Cork. Gary was very kind and held the table for us people) as we were delayed on our journey due to traffic and bad weather. We got a lovely welcome when we arrived and it is a beautiful quaint restaurant. The ladies serving were so pleasant and nothing was a problem. My son ordered the pancakes and even though it was past breakfast time this was accomodated and they were delicious by all accounts!Everyone enjoyed their lunch and I would highly reccomend a visit to Ryans Daughter restaurant. The side salad was delicious and the coleslaw so fresh and tasty. Thanks to all!"

"The two of us went for dinner to celebrate a birthday. The staff are so lovely and welcoming, very professional. The food was amazing, I highly recommend the Crispy Turkey and ham roll with cranberry sauce, it was amazing. We had the stake on the...stone which was lovely and very well presented and the Chicken Supreme. They had a lovely selection of desserts and I had the chocolate brownie which was really nice. The me u had a vegetarian and vegan friendly selection too. The restaurant was so clean and well presented. The staff came out with a birthday plate and candle which was a lovely touch. This was our first visit to the restaurant, having heard so great things about it we wanted to try it out and we where not disappointed, well are already planning another night there."
