"Four of us visited Italianni's with the intent of sampling as many dishes as we could. We asked for two tables one for us and one for the food, so we could have our own private buffet. I guess the waitress had never run into that before because we had a bit of a problem getting through to her what we wanted. The arrangement worked well. At the time this was the only Italian restaurant in the area. The food is good, and they do a brisk business even though the prices are a bit high. My three students and I had six entrées, soft drinks and deserts. The bill was $1600 pesos including a generous tip. That's about $130 dollars at that day's exchange rate. "25°32'20.56"N 103°27'13.87"WWe always go there for lunch if in Torreon. (It closes at 18h00 so no way for dinner)It is a great place for seafood. I have either the Camarones a la tocineta (breaded shrimp with bacon) or the Hamburger (Fish filet in a bun. It comes with lettuce, fries, tomato and cucumber)With this, I always get the small pescado caldo (fish soup) which is a delight. Mita usually starts with the large pescado caldo and follows it with a Filete empanizado (Breaded fish filet).It also carries octopus, oysters, crab and squid.The price/value ratio is great!Delicious!"

"Everybody always look for the ribs in TR, but the fish is superb. I been going for years, and always ask for the Salmon, I think is the best in town. Also the staff is very friendly and is a good place to visit with friends or family!!"
