"Been going there for over 20 years and whilst the quality of the food varies the owner and staff are always friendly and the atmosphere really good. Last night however my food was terrible. Fish and chips well chips as the fish was all batter! I sent it back and the replacement was barely cooked. Raw batter and fish! The staff apologised but added no one else had complained. I recommend giving this place a miss"

"We've often stopped for a coffee but the other day had lunch; the salad was quite bizarre, as if they simply threw onto the plate whatever they had left onto the plate. Tasted quite awful also, but other diners seemed quite happy with their eclectic lunch so may be worth a try if everywhere else is closed, or full !"
