"Great restaurant with very friendly staff. When I asked for a vegan option, I immediately received another card with 3 vegan meat alternatives. The supplements were freely selectable (I took potatoes and broccoli). The lemonade is also vegan. All in all very delicious!"

"Does anyone remember the Rostock restaurant from the time of socialism? I will recall: It was one of the best classic restaurants. The hall on the ground floor was large and high, very spacious. There was an orchestra and a program. And in the additional hall in the basement a tavern was built. Now the main hall on the ground floor has been separated and a bank has taken up residence in it. Only the lower hall works, for which I will share my impressions. During the day, the facility is a self service diner, and after 7 p.m. it turns into a tavern with an orchestra. What I liked: 1/Preserved by socialism, almost intact interior. I recommend it to people showing nostalgia for that time. 2/I would say very good service considering that one waiter was handling all the customers. 3/ The portions were very good in terms of quantity and quality. 4/May all customers had vouchers, which in this case means that for BGN 7.50 they get a country salad and a mixed grill in a casserole fries. I.e. excellent from a price point of view. 5/In winter, the salon is very cozy. What I didn't like: 1/Free consumption would be expensive: most main dishes are priced between BGN 9 and BGN 10, Zagorka beer, a bottle of 500 ml – BGN 2.80. 2/ The orchestra a couple of a man and a woman is quite tireless and, despite its good repertoire, burdens with a loud sound, preventing the possibility of the diners to speak intelligibly. If the evening prices and decibels are reduced, this would be one of the best taverns in Varna. Спомня ли си някой ресторант Рощок от времето на социализма ? Ще припомня: Беше един от най добрите класически ресторанти. Залата на партера беше голяма и висока, много просторна. Имаше оркестър и програма. А в допълнителната зала в сутерена беше устроена механа. Сега основната зала на партера е отделена и в нея се е настанила банка. Работи само долната зала, за която ще споделя впечатленията си. През деня обектът е закусвалня на самообслужване, а след 19 часа се превръща в механа с оркестър. Какво ми хареса: 1/Запазеният от социализма, почти непокътнат интериор. Препоръчвам на хора, проявяващи носталгия по онова време. 2/Бих казал много добро обслужване, имайки предвид, че един сервитьор се справяше с всички клиенти. 3/Порциите бяха много добри в количествено и качествено отношение. 4/Май всички клиенти бяха с ваучери, което в случая означава, че за 7,50 лв. получават селска салата и мешана скара в гювече пържени картофи. Т.е. отлично от ценово гледище. 5/През зимата салонът е много уютен. Какво не ми хареса: 1/Свободната консумация би излязла скъпичко: повечето основни ястия са с цени между 9 и 10 лв., бира Загорка, бутилка 500 мл – 2,80 лв. 2/Оркестърът – двойка мъж и жена е доста неуморен и въпреки добрия си репертоар, натоварва със силен звук, възпрепятстващ възможността сътрапезниците да си говорят разбираемо. Ако вечерните цени и децибелите се намалят, това би била една от най добрите механи във Варна."

"The place is nice but the service is terrible. We came with my girlfriend and picked a place at the beach. Five minutes later a thug came up to us and told we must pay for the mattress with an umbrella. He wasn't very polite, but we paid him. He gave us a receipt. Two hours later the same thug came up to us again and told us we must pay for the mattress with an umbrella again. I said we already paid. He asked us to show the receipt. But I couldn't find the receipt, probably it was carried away by the wind. I told him that he must remember us because he was all the time at the beach. He told us he doesn't remember us and we have to pay again. After few minutes of arguing we got furious and went our way. You can try your luck, but we're done with this place."
