"This excellent restaurant was recommended to us by our bike tour guide Adam. It has a prime location-right outside the spinning Kafka head by David Cerny. It is self-serve with lots of great Indian options to choose from and an ample salad bar. Highly recommend the lassis. In a city with limited veggie options, this is perfect for solo travelers, couples and families. Updated from previous review on 2016-07-20"

"The place is very nice and it has a friendly atmosphere. The only drawback is the acoustics, it can be a bit lurking when kroudy. That's why we sat outside and it was okay."

"I guess if you are local and just need a quick healthy bite, it's a perfect place but for a tired tourist who would like to relax a little bit, it's not ideal for.ex. no toilet, no comfortable chair . I ate a super tasty and healthy Sandokan bowl, even Dr. Greger would approve it.But I didn't like the rushy atmosphere of the place, the impatience of the waiter and I hate to eat from paper I don't care if it's recyclable, it's still not as eco friendly as having normal plates, not to mention that it not elegant , this is a big negative. There are other dishes though that they serve in real plates."

"We had vegan shawarma, hummus, fries, falafel and shakshuka with Sabich. It was top notch, big portions and really tasty. The staff was friendly and explained the whole menu to us. Check this Place. But beware: Hummus is Love!"

"Balarama does nice, but not exceptional, Indian food. it is a good value for money, some of which is really delicious, and the service is good. I said the woman who served that I was vegan, and she prepared me a teller with food with substitutions where necessary. fried eating is unbelievable, but the curries could do more taste with a prise. the poppy cake for dessert was divine, and we will definitely be back."
