"The Scratch Bar is an eclectic and unusual venue that needs to improve the basics. The reviews lead us to believe that eating there would be a good idea. It was not. It was a Greek themed menu and there was very little that was even close to authentic. The Greek salad had missing ingredients (i.e. tomatoes). The dips for the pita were unrecognisable and I think one was supposed to be guacamole not Greek the last time I checked and watered down and tasteless whatever it was. Although I apprecIate that the food is probably not meant to be the star attraction of this venue, it really was disappointing. Also, the glassware was dirty and we had to return one glass of wine and if we had seen the state of the beer glass before drinking some, we would have requested a replacement for that too. I would happily go back for a show but I definitely would not eat there again and I would request a drink in one of their plastic cups."

"First date in a great place. Last night I had a first date with a girl in this lovely restaurant. She immediately liked its cozy atmosphere. Every dish we tried was delicious: Bangkok Mixed Platter (starter), Som Tum (salad), Green Curry (main), Pla Rad Prik (main),and Sticky Rice. Although some dishes had three chillies of spiciness, they were not really spicy (for a Vietnamese girl and a Chilean lad). I brought my own bottle of Chilean red wine, Casillero del Diablo (Carmenere, Reserva) which made it to a great dinner. I didn't get my first kiss, but the place, the food, and yours truly really made a good impact on her :"

"Super family friendly, awesome helpful staff, spacious and cute. Food is amazing! Great selection of beers, real ales and wines. Brought us crayons and books and paper. Ideal for early dinner with 2 kids. Fish and chips are some of the best I’ve had and the malt vinegar is artisan; such a nice little touch."

"Local brunch place operated by (I think) Spanish owners. both the benedikt and the smoked salmon breakfast were fresh and well prepared, portioning could be bigger, but I was still a bit hungry after. the personal is friendly, the prices are more or less in harmony with the location and the genre. they visit when they are in the opposite, but I wouldn't just go there."

"Fantastic. incredible eating, wein and above all worth visiting when they are a true pasta fan! beautifully made fresh pasta and each dish was full of taste. recommend the crab linguine. it is nice to go into a small restaurant like this with charm and to eat amazing Italian cuisine without feeling demolished,often now in london good Italian restaurants calculate too much, but this place is very well worth. also a delicious French and Italian cheese plate that I would recommend if they are a cheese fanatic."
