"At a recent visit to my hometown I tried to find somewhere where I could eat and my insane fussy picky eat uk family would eat (yes, the vegan was not the problem) and we let ourselves on the brain and dogs, as I knew they had at least a good vegan dish from a previous visit. I was really impressed that when I asked about the veganization of a veggie teller, they asked me on the vegan menu that a bundle of netzen, side and even 3 desserts. eating was actually quite good for what I now know is a pub chain and I wouldn't hesitate to go back, in which I will be tied later this week when I tied another of their dishes. I know it's not gourmet fair or a fully vegan place, but it's a blessing in an otherwise culinary desert and it's 2 for 1 on the net. and they have thatcher's apfelwein on hahn and many of thatcher's zider are also vegan."

"We checked in here it was quick and easy, staff were really nice and helpful. The room was a great size with a nice big bathroom, our only couple of downsides were there is no USB ports and I think in this day and age it would have and that the kettle was horrible inside. On the plus though there is a fridge in the room and biscuits and tea and coffee making facilities. Food from the restaurant was amazing and not a bad price we had starters each, a main each and a couple of ciders and it was about £55.00. There is a pub below so don't expect it to quiet while the pub is still open. All in all wss a great stay and would stay and eat again. If you are doing the Thatchers tour this is really close about a 50 minute walk 4 minute drive or there is a bus across the road just make sure you check the times, getting a taxi seemed impossible on a Saturday for some reason."

"One to avoid at all cost. Only excepts cash ,staff not friendly at all ,if challenged ,i do not understand. Ordered food, waited 10 mins went to pay ,oh cash only ,cash machine up the road. Came back 10 minutes later and my food had been Left on top of the counter ,going cold When i asked if it had been there all the time i had been to the cash machine, going cold answer was i do not understand ,when confronted took food away Service: 1"

"Lovely food, had High Tea and was very nice. Will definitely be back to try some of the other delicious things on the menu.Lady serving us was very friendly and helpful and had even put up a banner and balloons for my friends birthday. Thank You."
