"They removed all the vegetarian options off the menu. It 's a shame because they had such good dishes. When asked if the Chef could prepare something, the response was that There were no vegetables in season. Hard to believe when all the other dishes have sides. Bummer! Love this place too."

"My daughter ordered the file mignon, very good in flavor and perfect cooking, I ordered the pork chops, they couldn't be more perfect, juicy, good marinade, I would definitely order them again, a round of applause for the chef and the grill manager . My husband is a fan of risotto so he ordered the risotto with seafood, the consistency of the seafood was perfect and the flavor was very good. Just the risotto itself was very simple. For dessert we ordered Apple Crisp and crème brûlèe, both very good. The waiter, Felipe, was very friendly. As it was the first time we went, he gave us a very good explanation of everything. The parking lot is very accessible, the place is small so it is good to make a reservation."

"Quiet and intimate choice for Japanese food, likely my neighborhood favorite. We've ordered everything from sushi to sukiyaki over the years and they've always nailed it! The food was rich, flavorful, and doesn't miss a beat. Prices are reasonable by NYC standards. The location attracts a mix of college students and people getting off work. While it's quiet on most days, reservations are recommended on Friday and over the weekend."

"My wife and I had stopped in for a dinner and both had the chicken parmigiano.I felt that they were a little small, however my wife was very content with the size.Also i had asked for no salad just chips, and the amount of chips i recieved was, i felt, inadequate, i would have excpected there to have been more chips added in lieu of the salad and veg.these small complaints not withstanding, the meal tasted great and the sevice was excelent, the staff were all very friendly and it was an amazing surprize to see a magician who performed both in the dining room and later again for us out in the beer garden.We would have preferred that he not have performed during our meal, as it was cold by the time we returned to them, to be fair however he was performing to another table that was not eating and we were trying our darndest to see, very distracting whilst you are trying to eat.probably the nicest (and only) barman magician we have ever had the pleasure of meeting, a little frightful looking perhaps with his beard and tattoos, right up until he speaks and does some of the most amazing magic that my wife and i have only ever seen on TV Absolutely Amazing.All in All, 5 stars, the food was not perfect in size, but the price was very reasonable considering and the staff More than made up for it, the service by our waitress was Friendly and fast, she was a delight to be served by.Follow that up with a TV standard magic show and you have a an amazing experience that simply no other pub can match.I still have no idea how he did it!"
