"I’m visiting Kansas for work, ended up staying in Lincoln KS to be closer to my project. Stayed in downtown and found Frankie’s, everyone was very welcoming and great small town feeling! I got the chicken fried steak plate and it was delicious! The owner was very nice, I recommend this place"

"Awesome place and atmosphere. We stopped in after a day of riding motorcycle. We only got tea and mozzarella sticks. The staff treated us as if we bought one of everything. Our tea glass never got below half before they was there with another glass. 10 out of 10 on service. Stop in and treat yourself and tip well they will earn it trust me.PS. Thanks to the staff for the great service and conversation. Yall are rockstars."

"Bobette 's is a dinner theatre run under the auspices of MCC Longview (MCC is Kansas City 's salad of Community Colleges . With that said, I 'm going to extend some grace to the quality of the experience. My feeling is that a person goes to a community theatre to engage with and support the community, not for theatrical excellence. That was confirmed on our visit in March 2010 to Bobette 's production of Agatha Christie 's murder mystery, Towards Zero . (Be sure to check their website for current dates and performances. I 'll say at the outset that the overall experience was fun. The cast was a jarring and bizarre pairing of old community theatre veterans and current Longview students. The actors stumbled, balked, and repeated lines. There was much pacing and kibitzing with insignificant props. Casting was dubious the principle suspect had dumped his first wife, a wispy, lispy twenty something, for an over sized, middle aged frumpy house frau. I thought it was supposed to happen the other way around? The whole production was campy enough to be entertaining. (This was my first pass at a Christie mystery, but there was no real tension developed at any point and, for me, that 's what draws me into a story. The play director, whom we met after the performance, appears to be a sweet, eccentric grande dame. That may help explain why the play was put forth in a straight, dry manner. In my opinion, the performance would have been markedly improved by inserting some whimsy, humor, and even some audience participation. A scene where suspects were forced to try on a blood stained glove had the audience bursting with laughter at the popular reference, but the actors allowed no sense of the hilarity of the scene. I 'm not sure if I 'll return to Bobette 's, but I 'll definitely look forward to more local performances. For example, KC Rep 's performances are exceptionally well staged and performed and Theatre in the Park is festive and entertaining. A couple additional notes: 1 The average age of the audience was well over 40. Most of the blue hairs, apparently friends of the actors, sat down front at stage level. How hilarious then when the pre show featured five young zombies dancing a limp re creation of Michael Jackson 's Thriller complete with crotch grabs and pelvic thrusts in the face of their aging patrons! 2 When buying tickets over the phone, I sussed out that the catered dinner portion of the dinner theatre was lasagna (meat or veggie . At $15 for that half of the ticket, I opted out and enjoyed a most remarkable meal at Ciao Bella nearby. A great decision."

"The brisket was thin dry cold slices, the chicken dry and tasteless. The potato casserole has too much not cooked enough onion. So far the worst bbq I’ve had in Lincoln. The honey butter doesn’t redeem the dry cornbread. I gave it one star cuz the coleslaw wasn’t bad. It’s like KFC coleslaw."
