"We had lunch here during a short day trip to Bergerac. Ideal central location, very good service and reasonably priced. We would recommend Les Delices du Batelier for lunch. The Perigord Salad is very popular as is the Confit de Canard."

"Even if the 18-euro menu is correct (but not at all gastronomic), the waiting time is very long, due to a lack of organisation in the service (no attached table, go-and-coming incessant for water, bread, no follow-up in the orders.) the next table had less chance with its 17-euro salad, composed almost exclusively of green salad (after 1h30 waiting)."

"Late October, sunny day, great opportunity to eat a light lunch in the sunshine BUT we were not alone in thinking this and the chef man and his two young lady servers were clearly overwhelmed by the demand! Slow very slow very very slow.....Sadly one of our omelettes was incorrect, the other two were not cooked enough, watery from the chunky mushrooms and cheese still in its grated form in the centre and chilly too! The galette was ok. The fries were good and hot. The green salads were smothered in dressing. We challenged the bill and they didn’t charge for one omelette. Quite right Stop taking food orders or explain to folks about delay. Don’t rush the cooking time, serve the food correctly cooked, don’t compromise your reputation."
