"We had come to France for a long weekend to view again a property in Ventouse we are considering purchasing and consequently after a long hot journey returned to Limoges where we were staying rather too late in the afternoon to find anywhere who would...serve us lunch, or so we thought! This lovely lady went and had a word with the chef who said he could provide us some fish and chips and would that be alright. Wonderful! and the fish and chips were delicious and very welcoming indeed. We can honestly say nothing was too much trouble for these lovely people and we will certainly be paying frequent visits to this delightful tearoom"

"Stopped off as we were driving to the South of France. Just off the motorway. This restaurant specialises in meat and the selection and choices were excellent. Be careful not to over order as everything looks and tastes delicious."

"Ate here on a Thursday night at roughly 8 pm. I was the only one in the restaurant so service was pretty decent! I ordered from the prix fixe menu, getting an "Alsacian salad," beef carpaccio, and fromage frais. The salad was mostly potatoes and salami with a bit of green mixed in. The carpaccio was served with green salad and french fries. The fromage frais was served plain, but the waiter offered sugar, which improved the flavor greatly. Small carafes of wine were available, so I chose a Riesling. I somewhat regretted getting the beef carpaccio, though not due to the quality of the dish itself - I just probably should have gotten something more appropriately Alsacian, as the menu was pretty extensive. The food was quite good and the prix fixe was reasonable at 27 EUR. The coffee served at the end was amazing - a sort of chocolately overtone that was not at all bitter or overpowering. Would eat here again."

"Pizzas are of excellent quality. burgers are homemade, very good and accompanied by an original salted ice and a salad with tomato. The presentation is good, the frame too. Strawberry to dessert, it's nice. We had been at the comedy of limoges right next door and we were very happy to find a restaurant open at 10 o'clock without reservation on a Saturday night."
