"Made another visit to the Hot Stove on Friday and was, once again greeted with great service, great food and a busy, well organized restaurant. Where else can you go to a fancy restaurant in a hockey jersey and feel right at home. We love this location because we don't need to rush out for the game. We can simply stroll down the stands and be in our seats. Its also great to be able to come back during the intermissions. Tried the pork chop this time and it was perfectly prepared. I know everyone at our table was very happy with the service and the quality of food. Always a good choice in a city so full of choices."

"Had the love chix burger! Amazing! Fried Brussel sprouts are a must have too. Patio is really nice. Good selection of craft beers. Reasonably priced. Went with the wife but would definitely bring the kids too."

"The Oyster selection at this place is exceptional. The staff members are pleasant and friendly, although it's important to be proactive in seeking their service. The Lobster biscuits have a delightful touch, but they could enhance the amount of lobster and reduce the salt a bit for absolute perfection. The taco shells are slightly undercooked and tough, but the overall taste is enjoyable. The restaurant's decor is tastefully done, and even the restroom reflects the attention to detail. It's a delightful spot to visit for oysters, and it's no surprise that it has stood the test of time. Will I return, I would say it's definitely maybe!"

"This place is near by to where my brother lives in the city so we went here when we were in a small rush to get somewhere. It was a very nice place in terms of being simple and clean on the inside as well as having outdoor seating. One of my favourite things was that they showed on a map of southern Ontario where they sourced all their products from. That was commendable and I hope more businesses start to do that.I had the Adopted Luke beef burger and it was great. It was well done and had nice flavours. It was made with mushrooms, caramelized onions, smoked gouda and bbq sauce. I ordered it with sweet potato fries which was unfortunately the only main flaw of the meal. They weren't really warm and slightly dehydrated. Must have been an old batch and I guess people don't order them often, not sure but they weren't great. This is why I only gave 4/5 since you have to be able to also do your fries well and have them warm for the customer. Service was good, people were nice and the place was clean. It's a nice place for a locally sourced meal. Well done, just work on those fries."

"This is my favourite sandwich chain in the city. You can build your own sandwich and it tastes homemade unlike other sandwich chains. They also have really great soups daily as well."

"Have made a reservation to entertain some customers here. First great movement, they actually the day of confirmation of the reservation! I don't remember the last time a restaurant did. All our appetizers and meals were on site. This is an Italian restaurant that really knows what they do! Our server was Isreal. He was so nice and super funny! It was such a joy to serve us. The owner came to say hello and we had a great conversation with her. A so wonderful lady and she clearly takes care of her customers. The whole experience here was so much more than we could ever hope!! Our customers loved it just like us. Very recommended for all visitors or locals!"
