"Hand tossed pizzas, lots of cheese and ingredients. We got the pizzas and donairs. Pizzas was amazing, donairs was flavourful, lots of meat and sauce. Will return!!"

"Touring the Maritime provinces on holiday this week. After a few too m at seafood meals, we were in the mood for pizza. We love the brick oven fired Neopolitan style and we're excited the find thus place. The restaurant itself is charming with photos from Italy and several Italian scooters lying about. I wish I liked the pizza more but it was a bit bland. The crust was perfectly cooked with balanced flavors and texture. The toppings were sparse and honestly lacking in flavor. The arugula on my husbands was wilted. The chicken in mine was dry. My son, save the lack of cheese, did enjoy his. But he is a 12 year old boy who will eat lots and lots of anything if hungry enough."

"The IM is a beautiful one stop shop for all your Italian needs! The desserts are devine but the prepared food can be a hit or miss at times. My go to's are the chicken parm sandwich and the caesar salad. I've had the spaghetti and meatballs once and the risotto ball as well. We will be back to try more soon."

"This restaurant, located right at the edge of the delightful Hydrostone district of Halifax, should not be confused with the chain of a similar name operating in Ontario. This is a stand-alone and well established Halifax landmark. It rates very highly for its thin-crust wood-fired...pizzas. As their website states “no reservations, no delivery, takeout available”. The interior is quite minimalistic but very clean and modern. Lots of table seating. Although pizzas are their mainstay one can also order a salad (two only on the menu). Pizzas are either small (about or large You may just be able to polish off a on your own. But be advised, these are not your readily-available, cookie-cutter North American pizzas with lots of cheese and doughy crust. These are as close to Italian thin-crust pizzas as you can find in Canada (I wish this place were in my town There are many varieties one can order (some rather odd ones in my mind, like “pork shoulder” (read the description on their website, however They average for a small and for a large depending on the toppings. And they’re good! The ladies had a Vegetarian and I went for the Spicy Italian. Three pizzas, a glass of wine each, with tax. Prompt service, pleasant atmosphere, nice location, great pizza."
