Before me lies what used to be a full, aromatic and inviting cardboard box with the familiar face of Giuseppe printed on the lid looking back at me, whispering, “Bon Appetit”. Now, it has been reduced to a cold and barren pizza box, the pizza fleeted into my stomach. <br/ <br/ Now, I wait with bated breath for the next time I can share the glory that is Scroogy’s pizza with my loved ones. "When I want a snack, I go to Subway for a six-inch sandwich, though of course they have 12-inch sandwiches too. I find the six inch, with salami or meatball fills the void in my tummy. You get a good choice of fillings and the price won't break the bank. The drinks fountain has a variety of soft drinks. In all, it's a good snack at the right price."

"We dropped in here for dinner and were at a bit of a loss as to what this place actually was. Was it a café? Was it a restaurant? The décor is very café, but with restaurant touches. Very brightly lit, standard café style tables and chairs, take-away pizza from the front, restaurant style menus.... To be honest we were quietly concerned we had made a mistake coming here.We were wrong! The food was fabulous - Pete sure knows his way around a steak! Tender, juicy, flavoursome....superlative! The entrée was also very good, with generous portions. A few things to note. 1. The steaks come with vegies/salad and chips/mash. This is not noted on the menu and makes mains look very expensive. The mains aren't cheap, but when you include the vegies etc, they become pretty good value.2. The steaks really are very, very good.3. The charcuterie platter had home made salami.....! It was wonderful!4. The waitress we had couldn't do enough to ensure we had a great meal.We'd go there again for the steaks, but I hope they upgrade furnishings as they are currently not doing the food (or the excellent service) any favours."
