"I am regular visitor to Montreal from New York and have traveled to over 35 countries. I dine out a great deal at home and in my travels. I would rank my experience here at Fenetre Sur Kaboul in the top echelon of pleasant meals I have experienced. The food was delicious and quite obviously prepared and presented with a great amount of pride. The Qabuli Palow (Lamb shank) was perfectly prepared, and the accompanying rice added a nice touch. The restaurant is decorated very tastefully, and the atmosphere is classy, but relaxed. My dining partner and I lingered to nearly close the place and then spent some time chatting with Nila, the owner. She was exceptionally warm and gracious, telling us more about the restaurant and her passion to provide an excellent experience for the customers. On this night she gets an A+ from a very high standards customer. She also shared the importance of the value of education for the young people who work here, adding to the charm of the experience. I highly recommend this place."
