"Very cozy, classic dishes and the staff are very helpful and friendly. if a quantity of paris seems to be taken over by over expensive tourist traps to turn customers quickly and with very abrupt service, this place gives the wonderful relaxing atmosphere of paris that I know and love. I wish I could have eaten more, but I'm coming back here."

"We were staying at the Timhotel round the corner for a few days. We had a drink and a meal here at the end of most days. The staff were so friendly and helpful, treated us like special guests, making our visit to Paris more personal and enjoyable. The food was good, served promptly and always with a smile. Drinks mostly came with nuts or tasty snacks after the first visit - made us feel like locals! Its just across the square from the Basilique de Notre-Dame des Victoires, so we sat and watched kids playing scratch soccer, beautiful people going to and fro - lovely."

"Very nice bistro bar restaurant in typical Ménilmontant district. The lunch set menu is great, and you can also go a la carte , the food is simple and delicious in a cosy and relaxed atmosphere. Service is fast, friendly and effective. This is a neat place where you feel good without complication. Expect to pay less than 20 euros for one main course, a dessert, a glass of bier and a coffee."

"Don't eat here! We had the beef au poivre and it tasted like dog food. The small cattle buds were dry and had no taste other than sweet. The Bobun cattle noodles at 12 euros were sweet again and the beef was the same dryness that looks and tastes like cat or dog food. The steamed rice at 2.50 euros was not fresh at all... instead of jasmine fragrant, it smelled stale. The pig bell was the only edible disse we could eat because everything else was inessible. With so many great Traiteurs, Vietnamese restaurants in the Marais avoid Minh Chau. 90% of their foods are prefabricated and they use the microwave to heat up everything. The Asian female server is incompetent and confused the order of the companion behind us. I'm shocked how restaurants like this garbage can serve in Paris."

"We love Japanese food, and had spotted three places doing it earlier in the day, and earmarked them for the evening. In the end, it was the one that was furthest away from the hotel that we chose, and we were very glad that we did. A huge boat full of sushi pieces, 12 to 15 each, with a starter of miso soup and seaweed salad, at a very good price of 28 Euros, was just excellent, quality fish, quality rice, just the right amount of vinegar and wasabe, assemblefd skillfully, and served quickly and professionally. With a bottle of rather good chardonnay, the whole meal came to just over 50 Euros, which, for food as good as this, is very good value indeed. Will go back next time we're in Bercy..."
