"My wife and I had a lovely relaxing Saturday lunch at the Glengarrian. It was quiet in the pub and there was a baseball game on the big screen LCD. The Yankees were playing the Mets; it must’ve been an exhibition game.We started with the Hunter Soup which was loaded with veggies and nice chunks of sausage in a tasty broth; it was a meal in itself. My wife had a pound of plump chicken wings with a garlic dipping sauce on the side. I had a Chicken Caesar Wrap with a salad instead of fries. The wrap was loaded with a tasty chicken and bacon filling and the salad was great. It is clear to me that the chef makes it his mission to make each dish special in its own way. My salad came with diced beets and a scoop of potato salad.The quality of the food is marvelous and the service is friendly and accommodating. I’m surprised that the Glengarrian isn’t any busier. You should really give it a try."

"This was a gorgeous sunny day and perfect deck weather to eat outdoors. So we were told about a 20 minute wait, but this place is worth every minute of waiting. We did get in before the 20 minutes were up. Actually we were waiting...at the bar. Settled that bill and got our seats in the shade with a nice breeze from the west. I had a Guinness beer, my wife had a Chardonnay. I ordered a Cajun blackened fish, with roasted shrimp, with fries and a salad. My wife had a fish chips. Both meals were excellent and filling. Well seasoned was the Cajun fish, and the Fish and chips are always great here. Service was excellent as usual and polite. We make this stop when we are in the area, just a great place to eat."
