"Came in for a quick beer and meal. Friend had the steak sandwich and I just had a small bowl of veggies. Food was lush, every smell from the kitchen had us drooling. Beer wasn't cheap however and was $12 for a 330ml mango beer. Next time I'll look more closely atmosphere was great and really nice decor! Will deffo come back for a pizza!"

"Great lunch special and happy hour beer prices. I ordered the ribs special. For $18 it was a massive serving. A full rack well presented with a bbq sauce with the perfect amount of spice. Sided by maple butter, cornbread, slaw and chips. What a deal. <br>

"What a pleasure to be greeted in such a friendly way! Breakfasts; both vegetarian and Eggs Benny freshly made by the owner. Great food, tasty and well presented with great service! Definitely a place to try out. Amazing decent cup of coffee!"

Taka is great. Super super super cheap. You can eat for less than ten bucks at each one. That's pretty amazing in Colin Barnett's Perth. You'd pay more for a terrible coffee in Subiaco.*<br>

Obviously this isn't your high grade italian leather of Japanese food, it's cheap and sturdy. It's a building block. There's no flare but there is an abundance of umami.<br>

"I'm in love. I wish I could capture my short time here and play it back. Well, I can't so I'll just have to come back again I was greeted with a smile, and helped with a good suggestion for what to eat. The atmosphere (at on Sunday) was chilled with some old tunes playing in the background, which weren't so loud that I couldn't have a conversation with the staff about motorbikes and turmeric lattes The pulled pork hock is astoundingly good. The flavours work SO well together and there is a satisfying crunch to almost every mouthful. It's worth every cent. The turmeric latte was good, very good.
