"Parisa, our server, recommended a wein we enjoyed, and good vegetarian options for our dinner. everything was delicious. it's a bit expensive, but not different from where we are from. I hope we will come back when we visit Fribourg."

"Die Bewirtung war sehr freundlich. Wir hatten das Menu für Fr. 49.- gewählt und somit eine breite Auswahl an Speisen geniessen können. Sehr empfehlenswert. Sehr authentische Küche. Der marrokkanische Tee tat zum Abschluss noch so richtig gut."

"Nous avions réservé pour 8 personnes un dimanche à 19:15. On nous a montré la table : "c'est là au fond". Le restau n'était de loin pas rempli. Nous avons demandé des nouvelles de nos plats 45 minutes après avoir commandé et là encore une super réponse : "il n'y a pas que vos pizzas !" Bref, après 1heure nos plats sont arrivés mais il manquait les légumes. Pizzas pas top mais salade OK. Nous n'avons pas pris de café. Si on y retourne, ça sera éventuellement pour un verre sur la terrasse mais en tout cas pas pour manger."

"Stopped in here to amuse the grandchildren and we decided to have a snack. I ordered the chicken wings which were nicely spiced, my grandson loved the fries, and grandmom ate the salad which all came with the single dish of wings. The atmosphere was...very friendly and we found it to be surprisingly good quality for the price."

"We had a very bad experience at this cafe bar. We were served frozen pizza which had been insufficiently cooked and a 'croque monsieur' which was actually processed cheese and ham between two miniature slices of toast. The toast was burned black on the outside and the sandwich was cold on the inside. When they couldn't provide still water in a small size and one of our party hesitated about ordering a drink, we were told that a drink must be ordered so the cafe could make money. When we went to pay we were charged for two pizzas (twice the price of the croque monsieur), which luckily we noticed. The food, customer service, and value for money were all extremely poor; other visitors to the lovely city of Fribourg should avoid this place."

"Despite the fact that the food is really good I will not return to this restaurant. We had originally booked a table with passport gourmand. We were never received in any other restaurant this way. When we booked the table no one told us that...the choice using passport gourmand would be totally limited. The only thing you can eat is the menu with the Entrecote and NO OTHER MAIN COURSE. What a shame. Passport Gourmand should really exclude this restaurant. But the bad experience continued. We decided to stay nevertheless and ordered from the main card. Despite the fact that the food was good, prices are extremely high. Cafe Gourmand as desert 16.50 and the macarons were frozen. This lets me conclude by mentioning that we felt not welcome at all. Service really really poor, anthipathique like the French say, arrogant in any way. We really thought we had discovered a nice place but will never return and advise all our friends in doing the same."
