"Used to love coming here when we lived In the west end but unfortunately we were seriously overcharged on this visit. Ordered 2 orange juices, one sparkling water, one Fanta, (no alcohol) one chicken satay starter, one chicken chow mien starter, one Creamy curry chicken main, one sea bass main, one coconut rice side, one sticky rice side and the bill came to £95.70!!! To top it off the chicken satay and chow mien were so processed we couldn’t eat them but that may be due to personal preference. The sea bass was lovely. Very well cooked and is expensive to order anywhere but this still didn’t justify the cost. I fully understand that costs have gone up recently and that affects prices but we were literally in the restaurant 45mins in total. Used to be a favourite but sad to say we won’t be back."

"I’d recommend madras dosa when craving for some South Indian foods. And the food was 10/10. Loved the food so much. I’m thinking when to come back. Especially loved the dosa it was huge. Never seen such big dosas. The set up and smells reminds me of home."

"Wanamoka is one of my fave cafes in the South Side. I live in Shawlands but its worth the nice walk to battlefield for their wraps/paninis/baguettes etc. I find the quality of the meats better than most cafes and the filling choices are varied and...fresh. Very good value for money too! They also make lots of interesting cakes to try. Skip the chains and try here for a much tastier, healthier and cheaper cafe lunch!"

"For lunch. £5 menu for lunch was great, the suppe (ham and shared food) and the salat (cous cous) sprinkled. both served generously and had a great taste. lunch included a soft drink. after some time something whisky, good choice. red hot chilli peppers will vote on the loudspeakers during lunch. wifi doesn't work."
