"We came for a Plat du Jour on a Saturday lunchtime. The place was busy..ish. My husband had the starter and main and I just ordered a main. His starter took minutes to arrive. The mains, hour twenty after we arrived. the food...was utterly underwhelming. One main was a chicken leg and a spud...that's all. When we complained they gave us the drinks for free and said too many people arrived at the same time. Disappointing in the extreme."

"We stopped at this bar/brasserie for lunch and a shandy. They have a selection of two "Plats du jour" and sandwiches. We chose the Quiche. It was a very ample serving and the taste like nothing we'd had before. The eggs had been lightly whisked added to bacon, cheese, seasoning and poured into a light pastry case. It was so airy, quiche was filled with bubbles and the flavour just uuummm!! - yummy. We congratulated the chef as it was definitely the best Quiche ever, we'd never had such a tasty light filling to a quiche before."
