It's a proper quirky little place with the most insane amount of information about healthy living and vegetarian/vegan life style benefits plastered all over the walls. "Really a hidden gem! we have ordered a lot more in the pandemic, but tonight we have eaten the first time. the dame in restaurant was very nice to us and eating was amazing. the isan sausages were great and we really enjoyed our visit tonight. the restaurant also had a great mood as the people brought their own wein and had a great time. great value for money. definitiw will return"

"Wanted to try something different for a change. Lovely welcome. Very friendly staff. Had the mini dumplings to start. Interesting. My husband and niece had the blini- one with the meat filling and the other had the mushroom filling. Both nice. For my main course I had the lamb and aubergine stew. It was really tender and tasty. My husband had the pork kebabs which he said were OK but wouldn't have them again. My niece Had the chicken in walnut sauce which was good. Didn't have a dessert. Not much choice unfortunately. Had a superb bottle of red wine. Extremely good value. Would DEFINITELY go back."

"As it was a week of ongoing celebrations, this meant that there were a fair amount of meals out. On this particular evening, we decided to stay local and opted for The Sitara. The Sitara describes itself as “The Indian Jazz Restaurant”. We were intrigued and not quite sure what to expect. Entering the restaurant, we were welcomed by the friendly staff. Framed pictures lined the red walls, tables lit by candlelight and jazz music softly playing in the background all contributed to the mood of The Sitara."

"Great variety of food , tasty and seasoned. Their patties are lovely, I also like to have dumplings with a serving of ackee and saltfish...Yum! My only gripe is the slow service which often results in long queues developing outside the shop. My suggestion would be having three staff serving and a cashier taking the money. I'm sure that the queues would move quicker this way."
