"I dined at MBD after a 20 years lapse after having relocated away from Oakville. I was very happy to see that MBD is still going strong and still providing good value, which explains its longevity. Commendation to the Morra family. Very good food with very good service, and at sensible prices. I will be back with another group, soon. Ciao."

"Went for a late lunch for Mother's Day. Service was excellent. Food was okay. Portions are huge, price is a average, flavor is somewhat bland. Appetizer platter is a nice sampler. Greek salad was disappointing. Waxy tomatoes and rusty lettuce. I was told the pork souvlaki was fatty, however the lamb, Cornish hens and mousaka received good reviews from fellow guests. I would not recommend or return."

"Eating was very good, we had three kinds of krepps. one of the crepes had mushrooms in it, but the mushrooms lubricated like the species that remained in water from a dose (not the fresh art). still good if you don't mind these mushrooms. very cozy, great ambiente, very clean. the only problem we had was that the two cooks who worked on this morning did not wash their hands even after the change with money they used their mere hands to handle money and then to move the food from the storage cans to the teller without washing their hands. we saw that this happened to several other customer courts. still a great experience, but the fact that they don't wash their hands before we deal with food has put us a bit off."

"My husband and I went for the cheese fondue only to find out that it has been taken off the menu. We were disappointed and I hope they bring it back. However, having said that, we ordered the Markt Sharing Board and we thoroughly enjoyed...it. There are a variety of items you can choose to customize your sharing board and there was plenty to feed the two of us. We will go again. And, of course, the selection of beer is great."

"WOW!!! This is a rare Greek restaurant where everything was top notch. The food, service and atmosphere was amazing, my guests were very pleased as well. "I used to live in Greek Town Toronto. Living there one quickly learns where to eat. Now I live in Mississauga and yes a great Greek meal is worth 1 hour drive but Gyros Place on Matheson means I no longer have to travel for the 10/10 Greek Dinner. I've ordered the Lamb Souvlaki a few times too. A few times I've showed up in the late evening only to find out they have sold out of the lamb. They still have gyros but I prefer the tender seasoned rare chunks of lamb. The dish comes with a proper salad, feta cheese and black olives. The rice yummy and the potatoes have the lemon seasoning you expect. They are the big potatoes cut in wedges soft mushy inside, not mealy, and crunchy outside on the tips. The tzatziki is good too. I usually ask for extra. They do give 1 slice of pita too. The meal is perfect but.... Getting take out they pack the salad in the same container as the hot food. If one is eating right away, this is actually better but if you have a long drive the salad is a bit warm. I've tried their gyros too, very good! The portion is healthy and on Tuesdays it includes a free pop. (At the time of writing it is.... that promotion might not be forever). The pork and chicken souvlaki is good too, as I always try some from the people who accompany me. The restaurant at lunch gets busy. So go early!"

"I don't know what travellers expect to pay at or near an airport but these prices were in line.As for the food we thought the food was very good. Freshly made in an open kitchen with very good fresh ingredients. We could see them being made.The pizza was fresh and well made and far from "cardboard"The Philly Steak Sandwich was VERY GOOD and I would order it again at any time.Slice of pizza and Philly Sandwich $14.00 is not out of line for where we were!Travellers need to remember where they are when they rate a place. Don't rate based on what you are used to paying at home because you are not home."
