"Bei gut bürgerlicher Küche im Restaurant (auf zwei Ebenen) oder auf der Terrasse haben wir bei nettem Service des neuen Betreibers sehr gut gegessen. Faire Preise und gutes, reichhaltiges Essen (frische! Bratkartoffeln). Auch die Mitnahme von Resten war möglich. Restaurant liegt am Rand der Einkaufspassage und ist gut zu erreichen. - Sehr zu empfehlen, werde wieder hingehen."

"Was with my wife last Saturday for the first time after 3. Lockdown back to a trip on the way... The Steinhuder Meer enticed us again and avoids visiting the totally overrun stone dock. On the other hand in Mardorf is a little quieter. It is preferred to visit the old forge, an old fish and anal gorge. There you sit outside and can not only watch the holiday there with fish dishes and many campers that are on this side of the sea, or even spend a weekend. The selection is really very large and the prices are actually true. Mostly my wife and I even take at least one occupied fish cock for home. They are not on site every day, at a distance of 30 kilometers, a way. It is worthwhile anyway and especially if you are there to visit the old fakes... We were never disappointed there again and taste so good in this freshness of the products. The respective staff is also totally friendly as it should be!!! In the meantime, the owner has changed and nothing is more like before. Not only that the reels now cost twice as much as before, also the quality is no longer given!!! For this purpose, the new operation is so unfriendly and gives only papal answers!!! No one will see me there and I will only give this institution a star under these circumstances. The new operators do not deserve more!"
