"Great bar and a great venue on the rooftop overlooking the flower market in the old quarter of Nice. Limited wine list but you can find something to your liking. Friendly staff. Food menu also limited but that should mean the standard dishes shortlisted are quick to turn out and should be of a very high standards Only issue was then when it took 1 hour 30 mins to cook 3 burgers and a salad. The burgers were ordered rare and came well done and the fries were cold. If you can't get something that basic right on a limited menu ... you might as well pack up and go home. So have a drink and don't eat here."

"It was our last day in Nice and we wanted something fast and easy. So we looked for burger spots. We decided for LaPlanxa because it was 2 minutes from our hotel. We sat down outside and immediately received some cold water for our table (on the house) We both decided for the burger. They asked how we wanted the meat (we wanted medium rare) and that's exactly how we received it! The burger was DELICIOUS! We ate so fast we forgot to take pictures. I'm a cheese lover so I really appreciated the amount of cheese there was in this burger. They also used coleslaw instead of normal salad in the burger which was amazing! The quality of this thing was sky high for only 10,5€. There was also a salad and great potato fries. We also ordered dessert: A Kinder Bueno milkshake (comes with the chocolate bar) and the salted caramel macaroon (comes with vanilla ice cream and strawberry jam drizzle) we ate it all up and also received an espresso each (comes for free with every menu). We both loved this place and regretted not eating here the first night as well! Great service, both men that night spoke English very well (always a plus). Wonderful experience."
