"Since approx. April 2017 there is a new tenant in Sammareier Hof, i.e. the previous reviews are not relevant. Have been at lunch on Sundays. Very clear recommendation! I really have to say that so good and lush I had not eaten so often. I ordered a grill steak. What I got were 3 juicy barbeque steaks with herbal butter, whose cooking point was perfectly hit. The high quality of the meat, no fat deposits and no flaxes were noticeable. As a supplement there were homemade pommes and a fresh, crisp mixed salad, which was very good and spicy. For this dish I paid about 11€ without drinks, which I find more than right considering the huge portion. Atmosphere in the guest room is actually quite cozy, even though something rustic and not completely furnished to my taste."

"2 persons dinner sales 32 Euro GENERAL, AMBIENTE The forge is located right in front of the marketplace on the main road in Ortenburg. There is an outdoor area, the access to restaurant and toilets is unfortunately not quite barrier-free (single steps) The restaurant used to be an old forge, which should be partially built. Decorative elements are. It was damaged and rebuilt a few years ago. That is why everything is still relatively new inside. The ambience is very cozy, optically on old trimmed furniture / tables, without tablecloths that do not disturb. On the tables slate plates as base for salt/peffer etc... something that disturbs the radio in the background. It doesn't fit. BEDING consistently friendly and attentive (question for the degree of cooking of meat and question whether it is right after the first bite). Little beauty mistake (which is widespread) was that immediately asked for drinks without taking a look at the map. SAUBERKEIT: We were the first guests in the evening, the restaurant was completely clean, only in completely hidden corners and the rough wooden decoration elements on the toilets found some dust, but you had to look in Heinz-Horrmann-Manier. ESSEN: An angus steak with potatoes and salad set for 17.90 and an oven potato with mullet and shrimp in tomato sauce for 8.50 was eaten. The meat was a huge piece (more than 300gr), very well roasted and spiced, inside beautiful pink, with thickness really an art to catch the right point. The potatoes were roasted in the oven, already crispy outside, beautifully soft inside. A real alternative to Pommes. Salad garnish was fresh and provided with a delicious dressing. The oven potato was also very good, not the whole fish/ sauce was in the potato and this was buried under it, but only a part. The rest was in a seperate dish, so it was easier to eat the stuff evenly on the potato. A soft, white beer was drunk by the local Wolferstetter brewery and a great specialty. The offer is well sorted, but not plentiful. Culinary world tours are also not offered. There are still changing seasonal day offers on the map that depend in the local area or are recommended by the staff."

"Visit them dates: the critique that I have taken over in rough moves from my old portal, but I have eaten three times with my family there. 16.03.2014 (and further visits) to lunch, 5 people (2children,) turnover 48 euro, generally reserved: instead of ill mio, the michelangelo was in the pastness, which still partly reflects in some of the facility. here there is pizza from the wood stove, which is integrated into a show kitchen. parking space in front of the house, access and toilets flattening, the latter only usual room dimensions. Sundays there is a special child's offer. service: very friendly and prompt, at the chef they need to speak a little clearer because he has some hearing problems, which is not an insoluble problem. between you will be asked for the satisfaction, even minor disregards of children (in our case my son, who threw my beer glass before something) will not look bad. Eat: the menu is kept quite tight and limited to salad, pizza, pasta. meat and fish dishes are only available as a day's offer because the desire of the cook is ready. Sundays there is a special offer for children: (children) pizza and small drink for 3 euro. this is cut as desired to star or heart shape. small and large children can also watch in the show kitchen when the cook is well-launted, the pizza dough flies also elegantly through the air. at the ointment they have made the choice of a house and vinegar oil dressing where the house dressing is really made and a tight. the salate is also fresh. the pizza has a thin crispy floor and is huge. it is difficult to eat a normal pizza even the salad (but there are also all pizzas in small). the ply is fresh, they can see what comes on the pizza. they only notice the wood floor. that is then also worth the comparison with other pizzerias a little higher price. so: full score! abient: the equipment is more rustic than elegant (but than the family we prefer). there are only small medium decks on the tables, but it is all intact and nothing slammed. the furniture and cover are partly made as old used wood that looks pretty good. in the front part is the showkitchen for the pizza along with pizza ofen, so they can watch while standing out its pizza was particularly interesting for children. for the children there is also some toys in the restaurant, outside there are different things like a trample, sandbox etc. the terrace is unfortunately directly on the main road. cleanliness: it was so far in order and there was nothing to complain. for 5 stars, I expect some specificities that are no different. (4 stars are so known that something is not clean, but a solid performance) unbeautiful were the old streams in the toilets and a few unsightly drill holes. restaurant was clean. conclusion: here you can eat very nice pizza. also children are welcome."
